Adjusting dosing alone vs. stacking

I've read several references stating recommended dosing for transdermal 4AD is 400-600mg/day (including Pogue's FAQ).

Is this for using 4AD alone and/or for stacking with another product (e.g. 1AD/M1T)?

NOTE: This would be 5 to 8 squirts a day of T4, correct?

you would commonly stack the 4-AD with another compound yes.

depending upon the transdermal amounts, it will vary a bit. the one that i have is 5 squirts for 200mg of 4-AD, so it would be 10 squirts for 400mg.
