Post PCT Gyno Treatment

I read the sticky by Mulletsoldier regarding gyno. Good post... nasty pictures though :18:

I just finished a 4AD/19Nor cycle, along with 4 weeks of nolva for PCT. Exactly 1 week after I stopped PCT (yesterday), I got a very painful knot on my right nipple after a great chest workout. I was very surprised that it seemed to come out of nowhere. Usually I see warning symptoms such as itchy nips and can nip it in the bud early on. This came out of nowhere and hurts like a mofo!

I hated to re-up the nolva, but didn't have a choice. I did 10mg. yesterday, and 20mg so far today b/c it hurts more today. I did back this morning and my teet hurt like hell when I was stretched out doing pull-ups.

I have nolva and arimidex on hand and am wondering which I should use? Should I just stick with 20mg. nolva until the knot goes down?
 
I feel your pain on the gyno MF210...literally. I would take 20mg of the nolva for a month along with rebound xt. I have read many good things about taking a serm and an atd together for gyno. Especially nolva and rebound xt together. Im about to start my pct for a sust cycle and ill be taking clomid, nolva, and rebound together to help destroy my gyno. Ive been battling with that sh!t since i hit puberty.
 
i have a little gyno from puberty.. it was aggravated a couple months ago from elevated test levels on an epi cycle... i am runnning trenadrol currently ..planning on clomid for pct.. i was thinking of doing clomid for begining of pct then finishing with ralox and atd... dont know how effective this will be at destroying gyno.. but hoping
 
Raloxifene is supposed to be one just about the best serm there is for gyno. If only i could get my hands on some....
 
Thanks for the replies, but I'd prefer some vet posts. Im 26 and 5 cycles deep. No puberty gyno here, this is some adult stuff.

I think my nolva restart is working b/c it feels better tonight. I might take another 10mg. tomorrow and stop. I'll let you know what happens. Any other suggestions let me know...(I still have the knot lol)
 
Same thing happened to my brother. Sadly he didn't rest up LONG ENOUGH in between cycles and he got gyno after he stopped PCT from cycling m-drol. I told him not to worry and pump back up the nolva but he needed to eat away at the estro in his system so he got letro...dosed that for couple weeks along with nolva. Then weened off letro and nolva almost simultaneously...(week or 2 difference I believe). The gyno progression stopped but he still had the bitch-tits. I told him to low dose havoc 2 pills daily with normal pct after and his gyno is pretty much gone! Needless to say he learned his lesson!

I wish I had letro on hand right now. I've read that stuff is hardcore and virtually brings estrogen to zero. The inflammation is still there, but doesn't hurt near as bad as yesterday. Took some arimidex this morning, and will probably dose 10-20mg. of nolva again in a few. At this point I'm just experimenting with what I have on hand. I'm just glad it doesn't hurt as bad as yesterday. I couldn't get over how bad it hurt.
 
Ok forget nolva and use arimadex when u use a serm it will diplace estro not reduce it (which is why u got gyno in the first place). And never run a steriod (epi) to get rid of gyno in pct end of story

nolva only stops estrogen from binding at the receptor site it does not stop estro from aromatizing....so after a few weeks of pct when test levels start to get high again aromatization starts again and estro accumulates but isnt used because it cant bind to the receptor site....when you get off nolva you have all this excess estro that attacks the site....this is estro rebound and can cause post pct gyno like what happened to you....the best way to stop this is to introduce an ai into pct after the first week....now you need a very strong ai like letro to completely reduce estro to get rid of your gyno....

Arimidex will have to do for now, b/c it could take me up to a week to pick up some letro.

its all a possiblity remember nolva doesnt reduces E2 levels, so if they are high coming off cycle they will be high when ur using nolva, so when you come off estrogen will bind back to the receptors and possibly cause a rebound, the same reason why i ALWAYS use an AI in pct.

think about it logically for a minute, half life of the SERM is 5-7days, when did u get gyno? What exactly is nolvas function? what causes gyno?

answer those and thinkj about each one as a whole and solve the puzzle

Yeah, it makes sense. I wish I would've taken arimidex when I discontinued the nolva. I've never had a problem in the past though. Nolva alone has always done the trick.

...in case that was directed towards my comment I just failed to mention that I had him do it for his "next" cycle with enough "rest" because that is what got him in that mess to begin with...

Mooch, I read another thread where you were recommending Caber and Chasteberry for prolactin gyno. Is there a chance I would need that? It sounds like mine is estrogen related, but thought I'd check with the gyno master :haha:
 
honestly....it sounds like you had an estro rebound from the nolva....i would use letro... the only way to know for sure is a blood test....but my best guess would be use the letro....
 
Just an update on my status. I decided just to go with my arimidex since my symptoms were easing. Mooch is right though, arimidex is better at prevention and letro is ideal for treatment after you get the lump b/c it is a hardcore estro fighter.

The lump hit me on Friday, and it is now Tuesday and almost gone. At this rate I think it will be completely gone by Thursday. I'll likely ween myself off of the Arimidex so I don't get a surge of estrogen attacking my teet again!

Hopefully others can learn from my personal experience.

Final note.... The lump was gone last Thursday as I anticipated, and I took two more .25 mg. doses EOD, and wallah! I'm going strong a week later with "MANLY NIPS" LOL
