Epistane and its pathways

I have had low testosterone for quite awhile now due to a hypogonadism which was caused by a brain tumor that has since been mitigated.

Being a lifter, this has always been tough to chew on because I have to work twice as hard for half the benefit. If I even look at a potato chip I grow D's. Regardless, I still lift and lift heavy.

That said, I've heard so much great stuff on the PH Epistane and would really like to give it a go to help me even the grounds a bit and maybe zap some of the gyno that low test incurs. However, is having low test going to hinder Epistane's effect? In other words, do prohormones simply stimulate a natural rise in hormone levels which is what causes the effects or are different pathways used?

If anybody could shed some light on this for me, I'd appreciate it.

Note: I have access to all ancillaries one may recommend.

if you have low test then you need to get on test therapy? which you should be on already?

if you are on test therapy it shouldn't make a difference right? And if you run epi with low test of course its not going to work nearly as well.

Yes, I'm on a very low dose of monthly test cyp (250mg monthly).

I guess I should of asked that since the mechanisms which control my test are haywire, PHs will be completely ineffective or do they act independently of the usual HPGA circuit?

i dont think it wont work well, it will stop test production. and you will still have exogenious steroidal components in your body and you will still grow,

Get to a doctor and get yourself normal again as far as Test replacement.

also, EPI a steroid.... shouldnt be used for gyno reduction, something else should be.

Thanks Crazy.

I do understand the scope of Epistane, but is well known for its gyno reduction abilities. I am not saying it would be the sole purpose for use, but it would be a welcomed bonus.

the non methylated version has been known for that in women in japan,

not much on the methylated version. some people get gyno while on epi.

Absolutely not. They will result in endogenous (natural) levels of test to decrease.

If you used the word "simulate" instead of "stimulate", I would answer "sort of".

Epi is a steroid hormone that you are introducing into your body, it is acting directly on the androgen receptor while your bodys natural production shuts down. Since you are on test therapy that is obviously not a problem for you because you are already shut down, Id also imagine that you would not need a pct due to that but I would keep nolva on hand.

Am I on another planet? Hasn't it been documented in many logs that gyno reduction is a side-effect of Epistane/Havoc use?

pf course they do, but they shouldnt,

what about the people who use it and get gyno

Thanks for the great replies.

Yes, city - they have me on a meager dose of 250 cyp. I always feel like a bull for three days about a week after the injection, but 3 out of 30 just isn't doing it for me. I have an appointment in January with a fertility specialist who is renowned for her work on the HPGA.

Thanks again for everybody's time. I'm about to start a short 4 week cut then get ready to bulk through to late spring. I'll get a log going when I decide what I want to do.

EDIT: I think the flareups are the exception instead of the rule.

either way uising it for its AI abilities (if it has any, i have yet to see before and during blood work of E2 levels) is not something you should do.
