Cabergoline?

I'm running a progestin soon, and I've heard of others running cabergoline at .5 mg twice a week on cycle, and up to 1mg twice a week to get rid of prolactin induced gyno. I have a couple of questions to anyone who has used this before. 1) What precautions should be taken upon cessation of cabergoline dosages (such as any upregulation to be wary of, or any rebounds?). 2) What are the side effects, and what should I be prepared for, or should I just avoid it altogether? Haven't heard much on use of this compound.

I have also heard that cabergoline is only effective in pill form, and that the liquid suspension is practically useless. Can anyone shed light on this? I haven't found any conclusive reports, or any studies suggesting it is unstable, just word of mouth.

Did you take the pill or liquid form? And if it was the liquid form, would you say it was effective?

I'm not really sure.. never had blood tests done for prolactin.. I felt better, high prolactin can be despressing and you're irritable.. when i took caber those sides went away and nipples gradually stopped acting funky.. I don't think weather it's in pill or suspension has anything to do with it.. Where did you hear this?

Just doing a google on cabergoline. Didn't see anything in pubmed, but I'm sure that those studies are going to be done with standardized medicines, not research chemicals. Check out a google search, I found a couple of people on other forums saying it doesn't work in liquid form.

Yes...Normally you see with with Deca, Deca ****. I'm running Deca with my other gear and use Caber once a week to control prolactin.

Nolvadex blocks estrogen from estrogen receptors and, in those tissues where it is an antagonist, causes the receptor to do nothing.

Dostinex is a dopamine agonist. Dopamine is a chemical, found in the brain, which transmits nerve impulses and is involved in the formation of epinephrine. Dopamine is also released by the hypothalamus, and hormone can inhibit the release of prolactin from the anterior lobe of the pituitary. So if you have ED due to high prolactin, you want to take Dostinex, usually during cycle. If you need to regulate the estrogen levels, usually during PCT, you need Nolva.

isnt caber the same as dostinex? and a side of dostinex as I beleive is shooting giant loads, and being able to do so repeatedly within 2-3 minutes (dont pornstars use the stuff?)

Yeah, that's the same that I've heard. No, nolva doesn't upregulate prolactin. It has been in theory linked to an upregulation of estrogen receptors in chest tissue though.

I did hdrol 50/50/75/75/75/100 combination of original Halodrol and CEL. I don't remember the dose of mtrn. used original methoxy tren from ALRI at probably started at 3mg and worked up to 4.5.

Giant loads is clomid. Caber is multiple orgasms. When you ejaculate there's a surge of progesterone in your body which makes you sleepy and limp. When you take caber i guess your body isn't able to release the progest..

Have you considered the possibility that the RC was bunk? You can find a lot of posts from people who used caber as an RC and it's very effective.

well why have I heard not to use nolvadex with a progestin like tren or pheraplex or deca during PCT. And to use toremifene or clomid instead and nolvadex will increasingly aggrivate prolactin symptoms?

It's not the aggrivation problems. It's that it won't protect against it. Think about it - Nolva is taken to prevent estrogen related gynecomastia, and won't protect at all against prolactin symptoms. So with a progestin where increased prolactin is an issue, people would say it would be completely useless to take a drug that inhibits estrogen related gyno. See the theory?:)
