The dangers of staying "on"

I just recently finished a 6 week winstrol only cycle and then jumped to a 10 week test400/deca300 cycle and have been on it for 3 weeks. My friend that also juices told me he is gona do another 2 cycle after this one(he is doing the same cycle with me) and told me it wouldn't hurt anything and that i needed to do it with him. Im pretty sure thats not a smart move. He is taking nolvadex 20mg ED and doesn't have any gyno related problems. I know doing this will be horrible on your natural testerone in the long run but I was wondering if there were any other dangers of staying "on" for long periods of time?
 
Sure there are risks associated with long term continued use...the biggest risk though is that of continued suppression of the testes...

To kind of follow up on that point...if anyone saw the new Jose Canseco special on steroids, he has been using consistently for 25 years....25 YEARS. His only true problem now is that his natural test is suppressed fairly hard...of course, hes obviously an older man now, so to what extent we honestly cant say, but I did find that interesting...if they were really trying to portray steroids in a bad light, it did exactly the opposite.

Yeah, a 43 yo male with excessive steroid abuse who happens to have hypogonadism...who'da thunk it :think:
 
Some concerns would be things like elevated RBC values - hematocrit can get elevated and become unhealthy. As well things like prostate health should be of concern as well.

Using oral steroids and SERM's (tamoxifen) for extended lengths can cause liver health concerns.

I agree. Prostate enlargement is almost guaranteed.
 
A friend of mine has used since his early 20s and he is now 45. Hes from the old school, who never saw a point in pct. He would rather just stay on longer. Needless to say, years ago he went to the doctors to get bloodwork. His t-levels were that of a pre-pubescent girl. This LH and FSH were virtually non-existant. Needless to say her is a lifetime candidate for HRT. Besides that his thyroid is shut down, so he takes T4, he has high cholesterol, high BP, prostate disease, pituitary issues, and probrably others that I don't know about. His last cycle was tren ace, masteron, deca, and var for 16 weeks. I think he only has a life expectancy of about 60 tops.

Not to bash your friend, but he is an example a person who was just not smart about his supplementation. FOr others who are responsible, HRT is the way to go for youth, and well being.
 
Used properly and not abused, I think the main concerns would be with lipid levels. Low HDL and High LDL. Like others said, high RBC from such as EQ can happen, and prostate issues can arise if you don't take something to prevent it. But cyclying right with good pct can eleviate alot of this.

The most dangerous issues of the long-term ABuse is the consistently high LDL and non-existent HDL. You'll see a lot of heart disease in this ABuser group that often can result in heart attacks.

Like others mentioned, it's all about monitoring your health if you decide to use indefinitely. Immediate concerns should be monitoring cardiovascualr health including cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and RBC count. Secondary concerns should be liver and prostate health. Taking this road assumes that you'll eventually completely shutdown natural T production so realize you'll be pinning forever.
 
kidneys, prostate, most of your organs. cholesterol.. theres a whole host things effected with longterm abuse, I'd assume all that would catch up with someone in the long run if you dont have a heart attack first.
 
I can't honestly believe that if someone cycled a reasonable dose of test (even ramping it up for a few blast periods) that they would have any serious problems aside from the obvious mega-shutdown.

This is assuming that they stick to injectable test and aren't popping orals left and right, and that their diet and training aren't crap.

the dosing would play a huge role obviously
 
I think the type used can make a huge difference. If someone just does cycles of test E, he will obviously have less chances of complications than people who do mixes with tren ace, etc..

Thats the truth, when you get exotic, sometimes it can make you pay later. Just long term test, i could not see the real danger in that.
 
The issue lies in the extended use of supraphysiological doses. Even TRT treatment is done using Test, and for life, yet it is monitored and not at supraphysiological levels.

Additionally some patients are not candidates for TRT because of pre-existent or onset of things like prostate cancer from elevated testosterone levels...even within the normal ranges.

Testosterone can raise ones PSA and increase one chances of and/or accelerate unknown pre-existing prostate cancer. Unless one monitors their health very closely they are assuming...a lot.

Again, IF you are smart enough and care enough to monitor, this can easily be checked by a simple blood test yearly.
 
many people stay on year round...is it smart? define smart...but their is a consequence for everything we do. I would definitely get blood work done every three months that you stay on. their is a good write up on bb about what you should expect from these tests. as long as your still getting results and your bloodwork is okay....do what u wish, ur a grown man, right?

My thoughts exactly. Based on his "last cycle" he has no idea what he's doing. Masteron and tren together? And deca? Not very smart...

He must be bald.

Perfectly said again. I get my PSA checked every 6 months with my TRT.

TREN and masteron together is a great stack, in fact the best stack for precontest imo is Test prop, TrenA, and Masteron. To have all of those without test, and add DECA was a progestin induced gyno scare waiting to happen.

But i Digress, true B you are right, but I am assuming with a trt scheme of things you would be monitored by your pcp, and you would have tests taken every six months to ensure safety. And lastly you are on hrt you are not on supraphysiological levels you are lower dosages, but on those doses many of the men look and feel better, which is what hrt is about. But to be on Supra levels for many many years and think it will not catch up to you is foolish. There is always a such thing as too much of a good thing.

Hes a semi pro. Been doing it for 25 years. Hes just old school, he started using before pct was the thing to do. And when he's off cycle, he just goes back to 100 test cyp q week. It would be a whole lot easier than trying to recover from a monster cycle like that. And who the hell are you anyways? Just another armchair chemist /doctor/ body building extrordinaire who doesn't really provide anything useful to anyone. I've looked through your posts buddy, just alot of overgeneralized garbage that anyone with a pulse could provide.:rasp:
