The sciatic runs down the center of each of the glutes...the best/easiest way to take a glute shot is this...imagine that your cheek is divided into 4 quadrants...an upper outer quadrant, an upper inner quadrant, a lower outer quadrant, and finally a lower inner quadrant. (obviously this applies to each of your butt cheeks) As long as you stay in the upper outer quadrant, you'll never hit the sciatic nerve...

Just wanted to add that if you ever do hit the sciatic nerve, you'll know it and I guarantee you that you'll never hit it again...it will literally almost paralyze your leg for a few seconds...

upper outter quadrant...think of your glute as a square and hit the top right for the right glute, and top left for the left glute

ah yes...though that would be an awkward one to explain to a wife someday.... "why is there a cross hair on each of your cheeks honey?"

especially once you get old and saggy, then it will be an upside down cross and thats noooo good.

Sad story and no joke I hit it in my right glute over a year ago. To this day I can still feel it. Some days when it acts up I can barley walk..no joke. The fukcin pain is horrendous!!! Like u cant even put weight on your leg. I was drunk that night and stuck it in way to far, and I def paid the price!!!! Word of caution only hit ventro glute (the small muscle above ur ass).

Holy does a great job explaining this but do yourself a favor and do a search for "how to inject". Also, flex your ass and feel that muscle just below your waist and almost on the side, that's the upper outer Holy is describing to you. Do a search though Holmes....see it in black and white before you have at that new pin cushion!
