Ya, giving blood on cycle is pretty messed up. I don't see it being good for you OR them.

i thought about doing this while on EQ, just to take my red blood cell count down, clots are a real threat with that. It is not good for the person recieving it so i decided against the idea.

Test and such incress red blood cell count and blood pressure. ren=moving a pint of blood a month our every other month helps with this. they test the blood for stuff and if it is too high the turn it into plasma fluid. so you are helping your sel and yuour community. you could just remove your own blood and pour it down the drain but why? safety and helping your fellow man. your extra test won't go to a 4 year old girl. that is like a teen boy with sky high test oing to a 4 year old girl. the medical community is very carfull.

admit it, you were just happy of the thought of getting another needle in your arm.

Here's Dr. Houser's take on donating plasma-

Let's back up for a minute so we're all on the same page because you put down the monetary offering...we need to tell people who are in need of money why they shouldn't consider this an incentive.

PLASMA is about 60% of your blood (though this is merely a standard textbook estimate; this number varies for everyone, so it can be more or less). Plasma does replace itself much quicker than RBC, steroids raise your RBC count (hence, why we tend to get both vasodilation and elevated BP while "on"). That in combination with a lack of plasma (because you thought $40/wk was a good going rate) could cause a significant rise in your hematocrit, putting yourself at risk of polycythemia (I'll let you Google this one) and even blood clots.

Moral of the story: DON'T DO THIS!!!
