Injection Sites

Hey guys just want some info. This is my first cycle and am 4 injections in. I am doing one injection a week of 2cc's. First injection was right quad and after it was pretty sore and tough to walk. Next I injected into left quad, which got extremely swollen and walking was nearly impossible and took a day off work. After two quad nightmares I moved to right glute, which had absolutely no pain. So I liked the glute shots and did my left glute, this however was my first injection I did by myself because the previous three were doen by an ex-nurse that is aware of what I'm doing. So now that I've done both quads and both glutes, I do not want to continue to do quads again after the pain I had. And since I am doing injections by myself for the next 3 weeks because this nurse is on vacation I do not want to do shoulders until shown how even though I have a great idea how. But a bigger problem with delt injections is that I dont like to inject frequently and because of that I do 2cc's which is too much for shoulders I've heard. Since I'm only injecting once a week could I just keep switching glutes? Also both of my glute injections were done with a 23 gauge 1 inch, is this a problem bceause my bf is slightly higher due to I am bulking and I've heard that this length wont cut it. I will be pickin up 1.5 inch ones for next injection though. Is there any complications caused by injecting a 1 inch needle into glutes

Yes, 2ccs in each glute is fine....I do 2ccs in my delts with no problems either.

The only risk of using too few injection sites is the risk of a sterile abcess...that is basically where the oil pools and cant dissapate quickly enough. You shouldnt have this problem with 2ccs once a week....

Just my 2 cents...

I had a miserable first few injections of this Test E/P blend, I guess from the P.

I read here to heat it first, so I heated a bowl of water in the microwave for 2 minutes, then sat the vial in it for about 2 minutes, drew the oil, shot it. Night and day difference. No pain whatsoever.

Hope it helps.

good advice

Yeah. Way better than walking around with watermelons for ass cheeks. Try explaining that one when you're doing squats.

Is that the best method of warming it up? I will be warming it up next time for sure now. So my question is should I try other sites now? Cause right now it will be a glute injection once a week. I really don't want scar tissue to form but if my legs get sore, from the time of injection to leg day, I can usually get through. If i do my shoulder and it gets as sore as my quads did, that would stop be from chest, shoulders, maybe tris and depending on how sore other muscle groups too.

It works for me. I've heard of people heating the actual syringe up, but I don't know if they're microwave safe.

Anyway, yeah, it never bothered me after I started heating it. I rotate quads and glutes and feel nothing at all. Give it a try.

Was the watering boiling b/c in my microwave that would make it boil. But if it wasn't boiling it would be steaming like a MF. I guess my question is will that hurt the vial or crack it???

I draw mine out of the vial and put the cap back on the needle then I run the needle under hot water for about a minute or so.This really makes a huge difference as far as pain and easier to inject.Oil based steroids are hard to inject sometimes and if you try and push the plunger really fast the whole needle will seperate leaving ur gear on the ground.I actually had this happen from Test cyp. This is one of the reasons why I started heating it up.

Yes, you have to be careful that the vial doesnt get too hot....it can pressure up and explode...Ive baked stuff before...literally baked it on a cookie sheet for 5 minutes or so. You have to take the needle off a syringe, and stick it down into the rubber stopper so that gas can vent off....benzyl alcohol will flash off at 203 degrees, so it has to be able to vent.

will heating it break down the oil, because someone i was talking to today said that it could. And how much would you heat it by

Sure if you add enough heat to it...I generally dont think its a good idea just to heat it for the sake of heating it, but Ive had gear that literally crystallized before. The only way to get it back was to heat it.

i take a heating pad (like what you would put on a sore muscle) and microwave it for a few minutes, then wrap it around the barrel of the syringe once it's loaded.
