It's Time! H-drol countdown...

I have been waiting to start my first run of H-drol and my order was placed yesterday so things are in motion. I am just looking for feedback on my proposed lay out. Many of you have helped greatly in my efforts to make this a successful first effort. (pembroke3355) thanks.

I am just going to give the lay out of what I have and am going to do and then listen for opinion/suggestion from there. Any opinions as to raise/lower/eliminate or add things would be greatly appreciated.

5 weeks 50/50/50/75/75. H-drol
Cycle support 2 scoops/day throughout.

PCT
Cycle support still same.
Post Cycle support 2 AM and PM
Lean extreme on day 15 of PCT
6 OXO day 21 300/2/2/1

Supports throughout both phases.

6 g CLA
2 g Taurine
ON BCAA
Super Cissus
6 g fish oil
4 g L-Carnitine
ZMA
ALA
Pantothenic Acid

I can't wait to make some solid changes while maintaining the strength and bulk I have achieved naturally through the years. Time to shed some belly and rip it up a bit. I understand that diet is like 80% of a rip up but I am never going to be on a stage so rip up is a relative term. I eat pretty cleanly throughout the year so I am going to fine tune my sweet tooth a bit.

You may not need to dose the 6 OXO that high. Also, cycle support is not a necessity once you're off cycle. Although if you're still inclined to use it - go for it, it can't hurt.

You will not have a problem shedding some body fat. H-Drol is great stuff.
 
Instead on running the cycle support in PCT I would pre-load it for 1-2 weeks. Other than that looks fine.

No downside to running it throughout (other than cost :p). As for the 6-oxo, personally I would have run it 400/300/200/100. There are studies showing there is no need to exceed 300mg/day but that is in eugonadal males. Your test levels will be below normal after the cycle so the 300mg ceiling does not apply. Just my $0.02 though. Good luck

I am jealous that you had the TG on there dropping his vast knowledge. You know you have arrived when the TG comes through. I only hope to be so lucky.

HAHA, TG is the life and soul of the party!!! And he has a lot of experience. Advise is always great from guys who have experienced it.

The SD is going well. Not quite kicked in fully, but weight is going up (as it always does for me!) reps are getting easier, and the only side is very minor back pumps (which arent slowing me down at all!!). Good luck bro.

thanks to you both. I should have all the stuff ready for a start this friday. I will do updates weekly to just get feedback and stuff. I just got the email that my shipment is on the move. getting pumped!

Are your stats accurate? It seems like maybe you could go higher on the dose, unless you're just trying to drop some fat during the cycle?

and dsmpowersti, the stats are true. I am never going to be on stage based on pure genetics but I would like to battle the genetic belly a bit. I have that powerlifter/offensive lineman look now and would like some more vascularity and definition in other places than just my arms. I'm not sloppy or anything but dropping some fat is the real mission of this cycle. Plus, being its a first time trial, I want to see how everything reacts and works. Thats why I did make the H choice seeing that it has reported mild/low sides if any.

Glad you both are checking in. Feel free to keep the advice coming. It's always welcome.

IMO weight doesn't have a whole heck of lot to do with dosages. Its more of a personal response thing.

thanks for coming in with that piece of info. That was one of the issues I was dealing with for a long time. I was reading all these logs and things but the guys were much lighter than I am. they were all cramming cals in and it didn't really translate into what I wanted to do with my run.
So considering I want to drop some fat and recomp a bit I thought the initial run could be at this lower dosage. I've read the Timberlakers log where he is as high as 150? More power to him and he is reporting great everything but I am just not at his level yet.
I may run an increasaed dosage in a second cycle depending obviously on how this one goes.

It will not hurt but it would be better served before the cycle and during the cycle. Best of luck bro:thumbsup:

Not sure I would ever consider running H-Drol over 75 mgs... seems stupid IMO. If it takes you 150 mgs to get gains either your diet or your training (or both) is lacking.

I am less than 180 right now and I can run P-Plex at 60 and have no problems but if I exceed 50 on H-Drol it gets to be too much. Totally up to the individual how they react.

and I will be running the cycle support through the cycle and then I was thinking maybe liver longer after during PCT? would that make sense?

I just can't wait to get started so I can find the "seet" spot for me too. The first 3 weeks may take forever but I think the rewards during those last 2 weeks are going to be awesome.

I'd say 1/3 to 1/2 the people running steroid cycles either have a terrible diet, terrible training methods or both. Without these 2 key essentials dialed in you cannot truly maximize your results. There is no magic pill.
 
I tend to agree with you on both parts. Isn't everyone looking for a magic pill of some sort?
But I have been on a pretty strict training routine and the diet clean up won't be a problem. So add the "magic" in and we'll see what happens. I'm excited to see what happens.

Am I missing something because I didn't see a SERM listed in the PCT? I'm going to be running metacort (transdermal 6oxo and 7-keto-dhea) after two weeks of PCT, which would be similar to you running 6oxo and lean xtreme together.
 
You didn't miss anything. I am going OTC and feel pretty good about it. I do have some additional resources just in case but after a lot of research the majority of opinion says that a OTC plan will be fine.

and by the way, my stash has ARRIVED! I will beginning this Monday and will be doing periodic check ins and updates. Its back to business and back on a schedule so the wait will be well worth it.

The official start is tomorrow for the 5 week H-drol run. I stocked up on all the needed food items to keep the protein high and am ready to get into this schedule.
I will keep the updates regular and appreciate the feedback.

i was just explaining something, that response was in reference to a question asking me to explain,

6oxo and 7 keto are fine, i would personally add a low dose Bromo in therer, but thats just me.

Gotcha, I got confused on whether or not a SERM was being used. I'm running the metacort in taper down fashion in addition to stoked and I3C, so I think I'm pretty well covered in estro control.

All right men. The fun has officially started!
I am done with day one at 50 mg's. Onviously nothing to really report other than a great workout. in and out blast on a monday. Weighed around 295 after work which was nice. I also really fine tuned the diet for the next 12 weeks. Higher protein and little to no junk. should be interesting.

Feel free to check in and give opinion, actually please do. I am more than willing to listen.

just a thought, but being that your 295, why not in a few days bump up to 75 mgs..... may work better for you at that weight, and then stay there, and if you feel its necessary then you may be able to go up to 100mg.

I was thinking about that but am still undecided. Again the opinions on body weight VS mgs is a toss up. I may give it a week or so to see how I am feeling. Believe me, I want to get to that third week everyone talks about like now. But patience is that virtue my friend...

yea its tru, but even at like 30 % bf you still have 200 pounds lean body mass which is more then most people that use this as a lean gainer...
 
Stick with 50 for at least 2 weeks. It wont kick in until 2.5 weeks or so, at that time you can gauge your response.

Be patient.

I am going to be patient and check out how I am feeling. I do love instant gratification but this one will be worth the wait. That 3 week mark is when everyone seems to really enjoy seeing the effects and if I am bumping up the mgs at that time it should only get better.

It may be a long 2 weeks though!

Just a quick update.
feeling good after big back and Bi's routine. The only thing I can say I notice is that from all the protein and eating is that I am one gassy man! Fun by yourself but not fun for anyone else. That and my urine smells like I've been eating asparagus. Not quite as strong but the odor is resemblent. But My water in take is around 1.5-2 gallons/day so its all clear.

otherwise I'm being patient and staying consistent.

I'll be updating again shortly. More so when the gains become really noticeable but if anyone has any questions or wants to know additional information feel free to ask.

Just a quick update.
Had a brutal chest session this AM. Felt very strong and recovery between sets seemed increased. Whatever the effect is I like it. Placebo or not. Up on the basics which is a plus though I am doing more reps now so it is a different challenge.

One thing though is that I'm feeling a bit achy. I know I slept on my left shoulder funny thursday night because I woke up with a wicked dead arm. body was awake arm was asleep. pins and needles that had to be shaken out. But I think I have to get some glucosamine/msm. I have some cissus but may also take the other as well. Any thoughts to help cure the achy joints?

Other wise, feeling good. Weight is about the same and the food has been steady. Just waiting and biding my time. Being patient is tough but I can't wait to see what happens.

I've noticed the asparagus smell too, lol. As far as joints are concerned I'm taking Glucosamine(1.5g),MSM(1.5g) and 10g fish oil. I haven't had any issues so far :thumbsup:
 
Thanks for the reply DSM. I'm glad I'm not the only one with that asparagus issue!

I'll also have to get back on the glucosamine and MSM again. I was hoping that the cissus would handle the achy pains but I'm feeling it more so than ever. What products do you reccommend? I was on the Animal Flex for a while and had no real issues so I may go back to that. I upped my fish oil to 7G/day and may up that again. We'll see.

Other than that I am enjoying the rest until the next week. Love these 3 day weekends!

mw1, it's great to see the reps around helping us guys out. Thanks for the references. I'll be checking that stuff out in the AM. I found it in the store here so I'll be making an order soon. I have been finding the drier joints to be the first noticeable side as of yet.

I'll keep it updated as we go.

Halodrol did nothing for me personally under 75mg/day. I weighed in at 210lbs when i used it. There were quite a few of us here a few years ago that ran cycles within a similar time frame. Just about every guy that was over 200lbs had better results in the 75mg-100mg/day range.

I didn't note much in the way of effects until the beginning of week 3. Weeks 3,4, and half of week 5 yielded very impressive gains in strength and recomp effects.

Everyone is different, but imo weight may very much play a factor into the effective dosing of Halodrol. You always want to start on the low end t assess your tolerance and subsequent effects. More most certainly does NOT equate to better however. Use the lowest possible dose that gives effects.
