I just completed my first fina conversion. I used the "wet" method, from basskiller's directions (Ken Dahl Version). I dissolved the pellets whole (without crushing), to maximize my yield. I let them sit for 2.5 days.
My concern is that after dissolving, there was a white sediment on the bottom, and a cloudy yellowish liquid on top. In all of the pictures that I find, the after-math of dissolving leaves a rusty brown liquid on top.
What's the deal? Is it just the variation of "magic solution" from the diff kits, or did I not let it dissolve long enough? There were no remnants of pellets, so.......I am at a loss.
Thanks,

PS: I used component-TH.
