  3. yanks look pretty good these last few games. and you all know who is coming back to town. yeah buddy. plus the next 10 games for the yankees are all easy wins if they dont mess it up but boston has to play detroit. might close that gap before may is over

28 million for a 45 year old who will pitch for 3 months and at best he is a 5 inning pitcher...The Bullpen is da problem.

  5. the bull pen has been a problem because they havent had any rest....they'll have rest now with pettite wang and mussina healthy....

LOOK AT THE ROTATION NOW !!!

Wang, Mussina, Pettie, Clemens, Hughes......yanks will be back to their winning ways

  6. yup. if the bullpen can do their job then the Yankees have the bat power to beat anyone.

  7. Priceless!

I don't care what the mans hair looks like as long as he plays the way he does. I think the yanks should use the tide to clean up their act b/c they just plain stink. 6 game lead at the beginning of may.....gotta love it!

HAHA since when has WS or bust not been the theme for Yankees fans. With that payroll to not win the WS every single year is just pathetic. Its like an NFL linebacker getting his ass kicked by a ping pong player.

Enough with this "Your payroll is sooooo much bigger than ours" (u know what else is bigger haha) anyways, you being a boston fan should know that your payroll is 2nd in the MLB. But just incase you didn't know HERE:

    2007 Team Payrolls

    1. New York Yankees $ 189,639,045
    2. Boston Red Sox $ 143,026,214
    3. New York Mets $ 115,231,663
    4. Los Angeles Angels $ 109,251,333
    5. Chicago White Sox $ 108,671,833
    6. Los Angeles Dodgers $ 108,454,524
    7. Seattle Mariners $ 106,460,833
    8. Chicago Cubs $ 99,670,332
    9. Detroit Tigers $ 95,180,369
    10. Baltimore Orioles $ 93,554,808

So the fact that boston hasn't won a WS since they paid the yankees and the cardinals off last is REALLY sad!!!!

I think this statement is really SAD! I see you're still bitter about boston handing the yanks their a$$ in the 2004 alcs. There isn't a better rivalry in sports in my opinion and i respect it..... but god i love watching the yankees and their fans squirm.

  18. yeah they got us in 04 but count all the WS wins the Yankees club has. they have been getting it done since the 20`s

Live in the now bro....after the spanking you boys took today it's now 7 games.

  20. honestly as a yankee fan i really dont give a sh*t about 04'....i think its pretty funny how boston fans still think about how awesome it was to finally beat the yanks...congrats for that...but when you finally win over us consistently for years like we beat up on you then get back at me...

if you guys continue on your pace youll win your next ws in what 2086? u guys wish you could have the frustration of us yankee fans not winining for a few years...we also win the division every single year!! and if you finally do it this year live it up cause it wont happen again!!!

on a yankee note....when do you guys think clemens will pitch first? espn is sayin possibly begining of june but who knows...also i heard that hughes' injury wasnt as bad as originally evaluated...good news!!! also i thnk giambi's injury might be more serious than everyones letting on hes sat out 2 games...is there a DL trip soon ?...i kno we got our ass whooped the last game by texas but takin 5 outa 6 !!! we got seattle today hopefully we get some good refs instaed of the blind ones that cost us that game last series....

they said they want him back for game one of the boston series

I hope we hammer the dinosaur and his aging team into extinction.......while i was a clemens fan growing up and still respect him as a player, i think the deal he's getting from the yankees further exemplifies how desperate the yankees really are at this point. I'm glad we didn't get him b/c with our starting rotation we sure as hell don't need him or the huge payroll chunk he requires.....anyways it will be an interesting and exciting series when the time comes.

  23. well the series is split 1,1 at NY...did anyone see that tag to coco crisp in the 8th? WTF !!! i kno the yanks still woulda lost but boston racked up 3 more runs after that...just shows that when the yanks arent doin well we dont get any calls even at home....(just like the one versus seattle i think...?) well the last ones tomorrow pettie vs schilling....should be good

    arod for mvp

  24. coco crisp is a ***! i would love to beat his ass. ya i saw that game he was out for sure. they also were callin a few strikes that weren't strikes. o well were comin back.

dude we suck. we look like $hit in every game we play in and they are too rich to care. they need to wake the fcuk up and play to win not to get paid. im not even going to keep track of them till after the all star game.

ya i know we suck... our pitching is fcukin horrible, and rivera has been fcukin up bad. the other game they get a home run off him

  30. LMAO....CoCo Rules, oh it's the Umps fault they are wearing a Redsox Jersey underneath...Quit with the excuses just admit The Redsox are a better team by 10.5 games it's becoming a joke..Taverez is our # 5 starter he 3 hit the mighty Yankees

tru ! every year they catch up to the crappy red sox cause they choke at the end of the year everytime....although this is def. the furthest we've been behind them in awhile...i'm not worried tho...cano and giambi started hittin and arod's warmin up again..all we need now is dumbass abreu to hit somthin...

i guess having the top 2 hitters for avg. and the leading hr and rbi man isnt good enough...boston still sucks....hahaha wheres beckett? cryin at home about a blister !!!

Considering the yankees pitching is nothing short of laughable at this point, i'll take beckett, his 7-0 record, and the blister on his finger anyday.

  33. GO YANKEES!

    " he`s cut! the russian`s cut!" " you see?! you see?! he`s a man! he`s not a machine!"

Yanks take 2 games and show they can "deal" with them sox.

I think you're more likely to be seeing them play golf in october.

they SHOULD at least get a wild card.

To be honest with ya i think the wild card might actually go to an al central team this year....and i'm not just saying that b/c i loathe the yankees .....detroit and cleveland are both damn good teams and only one is gonna win their division.

  39. well i just hope they can make it close. no one likes a blowout.

  40. detroit will win their div. and clevland will fade out..
