List of Players Gone to the '07 NFL Draft

ESPN.com - NFL/DRAFT07 - Underclassmen entering 2007 draft

Hopefully this page will update as guys declare.

Any thoughts thus far (I know it's still early regarding the deadline)?

I think Lawrence Timmons is a HUGE loss for the Noles. He was a terror on the D-line last year.

Meachem is also a BIG loss for the Vols, per my UT buddies. They will now lose their top 3 WR's - Bret Smith and Jayson Swain were seniors.
Some BIG shoes to fill next year (my friends are really, really concerned about that position next year).

Georgia Tech goes back to battling Miami for 8th place in the ACC....

I think I'm most surprised about Micheal Bush turning pro. He broke his leg fairly early on. I wasn't sure he'd be ready for the combine - but I guess he's got IGF/GH.

Timmons was like Sims last year. Very athletic LB who trys to make a big play all the time. It works at times, and kills us at others. I would have loved to see him return, but the NFL loves his skills and can mold him into a good LB hopefully. Its a big loss, but our LB's are always top notch. Even if Steele left.

Also Calvin Johnson is hands down the best player in the draft IMO. Way over Quinn, Russell, Peterson, etc. since he dominates his position when someone can actually throw him the ball.

I was also surprised at Bush until I saw Petrino leave, now I wouldnt be surprised of Brohm leaves now too. Also Im hoping Sidney Rice is back around the end of the draft so my Chargers can finally snag a WR with some speed to break away.

Alright. I don't think that ESPN page is being updated.

How many Gators have turned pro?
Has Ginn announced?

Jarvis Moss, Reggie Nelson and Ryan Smith have entered the draft. Brandon Siler is still "considereing" his options but he's the best NFL prospect out of the 4 in my opinion. Caldwell is staying.

Cal is definitely going to feel the impact of losing Marshawn Lynch but Forsett is very good just not at Lynch's level.
