I was 3 in 1985 so I dont know what the feeling of the team was at this point in the 85 season. Is this just hype or do you guys think we are a super bowl team?

My opinion is that we are so deep in every position and we have the best kicker in the league. Which are two of the most important attributes a super bowl team can have. Depth and A Guarnteed 3 points from your kicker.

the bears are scary, as said they are even better than last year and very deep..

everyone expected the defense to be good and a lot of people point to the cupcake schedule but if you demolish your opponents like the bears have this season i think all the hype is well deserved. leading the league in points and fewest points allowed, a 24 point avg margin of victory and outscoring their opponents by 120 thru 5 weeks is nothing to scoff at. this could be history in the making.

I agree bro, what the Bears are doing right now is flat out scary.

wow... they had absolutely no right to win that game... but they did. so not only did they get their much needed slap in the face, wake up call, what ever you wanna call it but they got the W out of it to... im still in complete shock. granted it was the cardinals, but they had no business being close enough to be in it, let alone win. kinda gives you that feeling that this may be their year, no?

Urlacher was out for BLOOD a true warrior!!! Grossman worst game, as he was being intercepted left and right, not to mention offense, and defense mistakes causing additonal yardage by way of penaltys!!! MY GOD WAS IT A GREAT GAME!!!

I gotta say this. Da Bears had their backs to the wall on the road and found a way to win inspite of their turn overs. That's a championship trait right there and not every team has it.
