OU's Rhett Bomar Kicked off team!
Just heard on ESPN that Rhett Bomar, OU's Starting QB has been kicked off the team for falsifing documents or something of that nature. He'd been in trouble 2x before for underage drinking, and got arrested for it apparently.

Yeah I saw this earlier this morning. Now OU is in big trouble, with no experience at QB. Well Thompson or whatever his name is had a little but overall nothing. Sucks for Adrian Peterson, he could have had a great year with the passing game established, but who knows now.

it sucks for Peterson, but anyone that thought 'Bomar' was coming to life was sadly mistaken. In my opinion, he is complete garbage. His only upside is that he couldn't be as terrible as he was last year. It's better this happens now than mid-season for OU though. It's somewhat like the USC situation.

Oklahoma, aside from Jason White (who was an elite college QB - he really was), has proven that they don't need a really good QB to win. They do need a defense though if they aren't going to have the QB.
