I must admit......I didnt call this game to be a blowout, but damn......as a canes fan, I am thoroughly unimpressed with Marcus Vick.

First Game againts a REAL defense.......no **** talking here, but Im still not impressed....

I think VT is a great team, and as a canes fan I look forward to the game every year.....

But our D got into his head........and being unimpressed dosent mean I think he wont be great, but lets see what happens with his development, VT has great coaching.

I agree. Miami's defense has DEFINITELY matured this year, especially since the first game (loss to overrated FSU).

I previously stated that Miami and FSU were overrated football teams touting their defenses as being great, yet never playing any good teams to prove it.
I apologize to the U, because that was absolutely fantastic. FSU on the other hand; proved my point again by losing to ANOTHER unranked team. Why in the **** are they still in the top 15? They have old-skool-Notre-Dame-itis, overrated by a large margin.... no offense intended to FSU players on this forum, I know you play hard; not your fault.

And I agree, previously I believed we were overrated, but tonight changes that. Hopefully we can avoid the letdown against Wake.....

Good pint bro. I, myself, am a Texas fan and it seems that we are getting better and better. I was hoping we'd face VT in the Rose Bowl(thought USC was gonna get beat by Stan or UCLA but prob not now), but I guess we will just have to see.

i am a texas fan too. i am pretty relieved VT lost cuz i think they would over took UT in the BCS because of strength of schedule. now all we have to worry about is winning out and beating the crap out of USC.

i cant believe marcus just fell apart like that. ive watched every game that theyve played on national tv and he never once showed signs of playing a game like last night. 5 turnovers?!? i know miami's defense dominated the game but you cant say that marcus didnt give the game to them a little bit. what im not understanding is they came out running in the late 3rd, early 4th with ore and he was ripping off 9 yards a chunk and then vick drops back to throw yet another int. KEEP RUNNING ORE!! lol ah well. i still dont see them dropping any lower then 8th in the polls.

I think we would put up a better fight than VT.

VT finally played a team with some talent, and flopped like I thought they would. Miami has a hell of a defense, but their O needs some work.
