drinks on me tonight when texas pics up the number 1 ranking

I hope USC finishes the season flawless, UT either loses goes undefeated, and VT goes undefeated. That would cause UT to stay out of the Title game because VT has a stronger schedule.

Anytime UT gets screwed is a great day in my book.

I am still having a hard time deciding if I want UT or SC to go down.......................................... (that was for Nabeshin)

SC looks like they could make the playoffs in the NFC!

You aren't serious are you? The weakest team in NFL has experience, complexity and athleticism that would kill USC. Every superstar in college learns he's just another grunt in the pros.

It was a joke....

But to say EVERY SUPERSTAR is just a grunt? Tell that to Randy Moss the rookie how many TD`s did he have? Or to go back some LT didn`t he redesign the LB position as a rookie? Or Reggie White how many sacks did he have? Didn`t Corey Dillon have a 250yd game as a rookie? Terry Glenn had what 90 catches in his rookie year? Bolden broke that last year... as a rookie! And Shockey had almost a 1000yds when he was a ROOKIE? Keith Jackson had 90 catches as a rookie.... Billy Sims had 1300yds rushing and 16tds... Marcus Allen... 11 Td`s in 9 games....

Of course, Main, the best of the best of the best will live long in memory, and rookies will have their day. My point is that the pro game is no longer a game, it's a gladiator arena that will bust most people up. You make some $ and try to enjoy the high life while it lasts and move on, hopefully without lingering injury.

You got that right... these are our colosseums.

That was a unusual slip of type, I usually don't use absolutes like every and all, considerations are rarely black and white to me.

'nuff said.

sorry but they wouldnt have a prayer against even the worst NFL team. the size, the speed, the strength, and the experience of NFL players just supercedes everything in college...
plus USC doesnt have the defense to stop a modern NFL passing attack...

EDIT: read the rest of the thread and see its a joke :D

Kool... but I sure would like to see White and Byrd from that O in Midnight Green and Silver next year!

Guys, EEmain was just fucking around :toofunny: USC would get decapitated by the 49ers, Browns, or Cardinals. They'd put up some points againts the worst but they wouldn't have the skills to hang with them for 4 quarters

much like the patriots i just want to see them lose so i can stop hearing about how good they are. i hate that haha
