I think it depends more on the offense than the QB. Moss was highly successful with Jeff George and Randall Cunningham (and can be with Collins). If Norv Turner (run happy ultra conservative downright shitty coach*) thinks LaMont Jordan should be the offense, than Moss will have a shitty year.

*I know, I am a redskin fan.

The biggest garbage of all-time was Mike Tice's "Randy Ratio". "Moss will handle the ball on 80% of all plays". Way to give away the game plan. Cheers to a 5 win season - maybe they won more, it doesn't really matter though.

The worst part of that "Randy Ratio" thing was what it did to Culpepper. Suddenly you had Daunte thinking he NEEDS to get it to Randy. When Culpepper spread the the field and relaxes in the pocket, he's an extremely effective QB.

I'm so excited to see a new offensive coordinator in MN this year.

Hey guys, can you imagine if your WRs didn't EVER run a pattern across the field for 10-20 yards? Let's say you had 1)go long, don't stop running and 2) throw it to the TE or RB 2 yards out.

I'm not going to say the Vikes weren't successful like that, but Linehan got all the credit for a tremendously talented core of players. With a real offense, they Vikes could have been unstoppable and maybe they wouldn't have need a defense...

Rice is simply the greatest. I would have brought him in for a year if I was the 49ers GM. He'd teach the WR's a lot and might convince Brandon Lloyd to focus on football instead of his rap album. Hell he might even produce more than the receivers they got.

I hear that, but Nolan wouldn't have it. That's fine. Still the greatest ever. He could play until 50 for all I care.

Hell Yeah.

Yea now you can hear Eskin in the afternoon drive...

Got give him credit though he breaks more stories early than anyone... wonder who he will get to take Fredex`s place now that he is in KC?
