I'll get the league setup in Yahoo as soon as it becomes availible.

I'd really like guys who will be committed.

Ideally would like to do a live draft, but I know schedules are tough so there is always auto-pick based on your ranking as a last-resort.

I have never done a fantast baseball draft, but love fantasy football minus changing lineups only once a week. I would be down.
 
As a 3-year veteran to Yahoo Fantasy Baseball with 2 championships under my belt, I'm down!! Not to talk ****, but if you don't follow baseball, you're in trouble!! IM A FANTASY BASEBALL NERD!
 
i would do it, but i'm very picky about my roto baseball .. i generally only do AL only, auction leagues .. not head to head .. and no lineup changes

if you've never done an auction league it is SO much better than just drafting .. and league specific really means you have to know your **** ... makes it a lot more fun as far as i'm concerned
 
head-to-head in baseball is kind of silly
I figure we will do that standard Rotisserie

Preston Wilson - yuck for me. Too many strikeouts.
I really haven't done my research yet - but i know homeruns will be down this year :think:

The scoring is the default, but I added a couple roster spots. We can compromise on a fair Rotissarie scoring format as well.

bump for the sake of finding other people. I play over at Sandbox with a bunch of forum regs(Sandbox forum regs) and the play is awesome. If you guys are ever interested in paying a little to play i advise trying sandbox. Theres a ton of more games, alot more competition, and a hell of a lot better interface, and in game options. Im stoked for the baseball season!!!!

Make sure you don't capitalize superdrol, or it will say password is incorrect. Might wanna change that deoudes in your post.

Yeah I tried this with two different Yahoo accounts - no go on either one.

Maybe something's wrong with Yahoo??? Tomorrow I try from a different computer, if not then I guess no fantasy bball for me.

The Draft order is randomly determined (by yahoo) 30minutes before the draft [schedules Apr 2 9pm]

I once dated someone who did fantasy baseball, but maybe i should not, having never played myself i dont want to interupt a "guy" thing.......

It's totally up to you
All we ask is you play all season all, its a 162 game schedule - and is actually fairly time consuming (much more than fantasy football).
For the draft, we need to select our players within 60seconds of each other (there is a draft clock limit) - so you would need to be familiar with the players.

If you can play all season, we'd love to have you :welcome:
 
thank you but sounds time consuming and i have very little free time now with my 3 jobs, and coaching volleyball and teaching spin class.. thanks anyway :)
 
hey buddy i just joined the league and i posted a comment in the lobby but i figured id post it here also so there is a bigger chance of it getting read.

ive played in both rotisseri and head to head leagues and it seems that in rotisseri that there is a very likely chance that a few teams within the first week can get out to a huuuuge lead where as some teams could be pushed to the bottom for the entire season. my feelings are that head to head leagues make it much more fair and competitive since you get a fresh start every week against a different team. ill play hard no matter what the settings but i just wanted to throw that idea out there of switching the league to a head to head
