I didn't know he was a boxer.
You haven't seen rocky fight?
I agree. Whether he boxed or not, he inspired a LOT of kids to box, and who knows, maybe even some of the great boxers today were inspired by Rocky. I know it really means a lot to me now to watch those movies, where they make me proud as an American, watching an American underdog take down the big bad Russian (seriously ginormous), and I'm sure it did the same for a lot of people that watched it. He may not be a boxer, but he definitely deserves a spot in the hall of fame, because he is one of, if not the, most famous boxers, even if he is fictional. But I also agree an asterisk next to his name would be in orderHe merged the sport of boxing with the art of cinema. It turned out to be an incredible tribute to the sport. "Rocky" is iconic, you need look no further than to see who escorted, Pac, into the ring against Mosley. Commentators and boxing writers alike are also inducted into the hall of fame.
