  4. Got another one. Dan McGwire, Big Mac's "little" brother. He was supposed to take the Seahawks to the promised land and everyone slobbered about him cause he was 6'8'' and had a cannon.

  5. I didnt know that guy was Mac's brother. A bust for sure.

    Hideki Irabu.

On that note how 'bout Ozzie Canseco, Jose's twin?

  8. LOL on Hideki Irabu, you gotta love how Steinbrenner referred to him as a "fat toad".

Ozzie Canseco was a freakin automatic strikeout everytime he batted.

por que? he probably over achieved during his career, grabbing a few titles on the way with numerous rebouding awards.

I wouldn't say he was a waste of talent, but he could win any freak show.

  13. There have been a lot of cases of wasted talent as of late, as opposed to just turning out to be a bust.

Can anyone say Jamal Lewis and Leonard Little? Lewis was arguably the best back in the game. A drug run on his cellphone is going to land him in jail. And Leonard Little? He was evolving into one of the game's most dominant defensive linemen and just couldn't keep himself from getting behind the wheel after a night boozing it up. Sad and truly pathetic in both cases.

  14. There have been numerous cases lately. Can anyone say Jamal Lewis and Leonard Little? Lewis was arguably the game's most dominant back, and then he had to go ruin it all with a drug run on a cellphone. Then there's Little, who was evolving into one of the game's most dominant defensive linemen, though he couldn't keep himself from getting behind the wheel after a night out boozing.

Both cases are sad examples of amazing talent being ruined by substance abuse, poor judgement, and downright arrogance.

  15. Barry Sanders.

Grew up watching the guy and every year I would wish that the Lions would get a decent o line.

That being said, the guy certainly didn't take winning that seriously. Why? Because he never made any attempt to re-negotiate his contract to get other talent.

Jamal Lewis will do fine, Leonard Little is in trouble, but there have been way bigger bums than him.

BTW, did you all know Lawrence Phillips sold his big-12 championship ring in a pawn shop for $20. That's sad yet funny to me cause he was a multi-millionaire out of college and got many chances with other teams. The bastard also missed the block which effectively ended Steve Young's career

  17. Mike Tyson. Easily could have been the best boxer of all time. Now, he is just a broke thug. Sad.

Who the hell said Jerry Rice? or Barry Sanders? or Dennis Rodman?

Did anyone say Ricky Williams? That dumbass ****ed up big.

Remember, my statement was in general for all that is baseball..

  20. On a current note, for boxing, I would have to throw out Ricky Hatton. Amazing skill, work rate, focus, but he won't fight outside of the UK. Unless he bites the bullet and comes to the US, outside of his 35k+ home crowd, and fights a few people with names, that aren't out of thier prime, no one will ever give him the credit he deserves. Maybe, if Tzu wins next month, Hatton can line up a real test.

  21. Well, everyone's coverd all of the athletes outside of BBing, so I'll incude a BBer i'm upset with. Kevin Levrone! That guy's got one of the best physiques on the planet and he's got a reputation for being "lazy" among the pro's. If he's "lazy" what could he do if he worked out like Ronnie? I mean, he's incredibly everywhere, has good mass, etc, AND he has a good midsection!! Am I the only one who thinks this???
