As Chris noted, you're actually starting from a great place - far better conditioning than a lot of women (and men), and if Chris has you on target re training and nutrition, you're going to be fine (your man knows what he's doing)! As far as your goals, DEFINITELY achievable, and, as an individual who does NOT diet (SO refreshing to see another female actually say "I don't diet"!), I KNOW that you CAN effectively AND successfully lose bodyfat withOUT it and going to the extremes that 99% of people do because they think it's the "only" way to do it!
Re scale weight, I'm sure you already know that it is IRrelevant, and BODY COMPOSITION is what your focus should be on - especially if you're losing bodyfat, but making small lean gains as well (which you're likely to do with your nutritional protocol, IMO).
Nice to see that you do NOT like to be "coddled" and are just "another one of the guys" - I think you'll fit right in here, Joanne
