Well, the thread title might be a little dramatic, but I was really excited to try DCP since I heard so many good things about it and I got a bottle about two weeks ago from NP. Ive done about 40 caps of DCP and I just cant take the heartburn/stomach upset Im getting anymore. I also thought it might be giving me headaches, but I cant pinpoint this to the DCP. Maybe Im allergic to it, but Ive tried taking it different ways, taking it as recommended, taking it in between meals, taking it with food, taking it with various liquids and its just not for me and Im sad about this.

My questions are:
1- Did/does anyone else have this problem(s)?
2- What to do with the other 140 caps?

I will probably sell the remaining caps, in fact I probably should put something up in the auction section of the forum, since Ive got a bottle of sesamin and massfx I want to sell too.

But I was kinda hoping for ideas if anyone else has had this problem, and how they handled it. Like I was thinking maybe mixing the dcp into yogurt, or maybe sprinkling it over some flavored rice.

Try popping an extra large TUMS right before taking the DCP. Sometimes I get the heartburn, and this makes it go right away.

Thanks d, I'll probably give it a try, I was thinking about taking it with a shot of mylanta, but I wanted to see if anybody else even knew what I was talking about.

It's been reported, and I have a hypothesis of why this is happening, but for the most part TUMS eliminates it entirely.

Besides, getting enough calcium is still a major problem in this country, and it is essential for muscle contractions - so it will help your workouts.

I also recommend taking it with either maalox, tums, or even Prilosec OTC prior to dosing. Prilosec is a proton pump inhibitor(actually shuts down some of the gastric acid pumps limiting gastric acid secretion)which is utilized by many very successfully with a gastric acid reflux condition. It's certainly worth giving a try imo.

Havoc is awesome no doubt, but unfortunately I dont need any. I am giving up on the DCP, I guess Im a wuss, or my gut is a wuss, cause its just not agreeing with me, I may even be allergic to one of the secret ingredients, who knows for sure. It breaks my heart, but I am selling whats left of the DCP in the appropriate forum of this board, check it out,

Interesting bro, I know you sold it already, but I had EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM.

Trauma and Dsade suggested reducing the dosage (took 3, 4 times daily - broke it down to 2, 5 times daily).

I can tolerate 2 at once with NO problems, have 3 and im burning up inside my esophagus.

Weird. I thought it was the potassium, not sure.

You didnt say your dosage so I guess if you cant even handle 1 at a time, then the only other option would be to break open a capsule and have half at a time with 30 min gap.

Anyway this is old but i guess if anyone else has problems this could help.
