    Home-Made Shakes..


    do you have any recipes for home-made gainer shakes?? i dont have any protein powder right now and am trying to go the cheaper route lol

    1 scoop of vanilla whey
    1/2 cup of cottage cheese
    1 cup of oats
    2tbs of natural peanut butter
    1% milk

    1 scoop whey
    1 banana
    1/2 cup oats
    2 tsp natural peanut butter
    1% milk

    1 scoop vanilla whey
    1 low fat low carb strawberry banana yogurt or 1 cup of berries
    1/2 cup oats
    1tsp flax
    1% milk

    Oh i didnt see that you didnt have any protein powder. You could just use more milk or even powdered milk.

    Maybe something like this:

    4-6 cooked egg whites
    banana
    oats
    PB
    milk

    blend and chug

    you can use the liquid "egg whites only" from the grocery store too, they are pasteurized. if I recall right, 1/4 cup of that is around 24g protein. So that in place of the whey in any of the above would work. Nowadays tho, all the grocery stores around me carry whey

    Thats your answer right there, liquid egg whites and a big old box of powdered milk for a real nice base, then add some ice and whatever fruits you like to it. ie: banannas, rasberrys, etc.

    It will be a mega-homemade-protein-smoothie.

    1 cup cottage cheese 1/2 cup plain youguet and 1/2 cup dry rolled oats. Not really a shake but it's awsome. It sounds gross but you will love it.
