My wife makes these and I love them!

INGREDIENTS:
2 large sweet potatoes
1 tbsp of olive oil
1/4 tsp salt

PREPARATION:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
Cut the sweet potatoes into 1/2 inch strips or wedges and toss in the oil and salt. Arrange in a single layer on a nonstick baking sheet. Place in oven for 30 minutes, turning once.

Man, I do the same thing but use a french fry maker and I add some pepper. I overcook mine a little to crisp them up. Yams are awsome.

Ive tried this and its kick ass!

But I found something awesome when shopping yesterday at Wal-Mart!

Prepackaged, organic sweet potatoe fries!

They are in the frozen potatoes/fries section. They are precut and organic. Havent made any yet but they look awesome and were only $3 for a big bag. This saves a lot of hassle of cutting sweet potatoes...just put on a pan, season and cook!

Dang, I totally forgot about this (this thread is over a year old). I'm going to have to pick up sweet potatoes now.

Glad you liked'em Smeton!...oh, and they're good with some cinnamon and splenda too.

there used to be a restaurant back by where my parents live that sold these. We used to go there all the time and get some.

DIP YOUR FRIES IN HORSERADISH SAUCE, YOU WILL THANK ME LATER!
