i tried the original poster's shake today. 2.5 glasses of shake was a lot considering i'ver never taken any kind of protein shake before.
it did taste pretty good, just drink it quickly or the oil seems to rise to the top

I remember the days of liquid breakfast. I used to use a vanilla Myoplex Deluxe with 1/2 C of oats and 1 C of blueberries. Ahhh, those were the days...

u think it would still taste as good if u add ON chocolate whey? or a different flavor would be better?

Ok what do you think about my hour and a half after workout meal... this is my second meal after my 50g protein/skim milk shake directly after work out.
1 tbls. natty pb
4 oz liquid egg product... maybe more
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 scoop of on whey
1/2 cup instant plain oats
16 oz of skim milk
blend for a minute and slam it down
Lots and lots of protein and carbs along with some good fat that brings the taste to a tolerable level along with the banana.

Here's my favorite:
- 2.5-3 cups of 2% milk
- 1 scoop of vanilla whey
- 1 cup of cottage cheese (small curd)
- 3.5-4 tblsp of peanut butter (smooth)
- 10-15 frozen blueberries
- 1 cup of vanilla bean ice cream
The only thing that changes is sometimes I will use frozen strawberries, and every now and again I throw in a banana. But usually I get a liquid taste of a mix between a Reese's/Twix. Everyone try it at least once! Sometimes it is a bit much for me to finish at one sitting depending on how hungry I am, so I'll save some fore a nice snack later on.

Not to mention the carbs and fat...... It sounds GREAT! And i REALLY want to try it... BUT am worried about the high carbs and cals... (more the carbs... i GOT my abs by doin the low carb diet... and and WORRIED TO DEATH about losing them when i start trying to bulk back up now....)
Anyway it can be modified to make is around 500 cals.. maybe 600... and less carbs?

I've been making this shake for awhile now I've tried dumping a lot of diff things in there I love how you can't taste to much of what you mix in. If your really daring take the berries out and put tuna haha.
