The True Warrior is one who conquers oneself
I had this idea after eating what I did post workout yesterday.

How about we post recipes that we have attempted that really SUCKED *SS!

I will start

Yesterday after the gym I took a scoop of fat free ricotta cheese, and had it with 2 eggs over easy. Horrible

Not really a recipe, but if anyone is eating ricotta, don't mix it with eggs.

Haha, thats so funny you mention that.
I made protein bars this week, rolled oats, banana whey protein, egg whites and peanuts. They should have turned out perfectly, but when I ate one, it was gross.
Confused, I went back to look at where I could have gone wrong and I realised I used my "hot and spicy" peanuts not the plain unsalted ones that I thought I put in.
Banana with hot and spicy nuts, not a good combination at all :)

I like hot and spicy peanuts though....they are the best. I've actually made my own a few times.

I need to start making protien bars...can you post the recipe?

See I would actually be tempted to try it now with the H&S peanuts just to see what it tastes like..lol

On a side note, i came home, and was scared of my ricotta cheese. I was like ok I'm just going to spoon that crap into my mouth and wash it down..i gagged..no lie

So i took about 1/2 cup of "meat flavored" pasta sauce and mixed it in....came out awesome...and had my eggs with it..

I tried to mix creatine powder into scrambled eggs bc I used to not be able to handle swallowing the powder with water. It turned the eggs gritty and clumpy and they tasted like some one dumped a sandbox into my eggs. I manned up and choked them down anyways.

it was impulsive. I figured in the morning you have orange juice and I was already drinking milk so I mixed orange crystal light with my milk.

I almost puked.

I love eggs and ground turkey, add cheese next time, or get the cheese and chive egg beaters. and add some reduced sodium taco seasoning to the ground turkey its soo good

Adding an orange to my milk and protein combo. It was the nastiest thing i've ever tasted besides the old ultimate orange and water combo. ( I still have dry heaves thinking about it)

I got bored and tried mixing a scoop of chocolate VPX Micellean into 3/4 cup of cottage cheese. They wouldn't mix so I added some water. It was all downhill from there. Sour sugar free chocolate that was slimy and grity at the same time. Just..Don't do it.

When I was 17 I used to mix diet coke with chocolate protien powder, and tuna. I was looking for an easier way to down tuna. Well, this way didn't really work out.

Marinading veal in beer for several hours before grilling. Its the kind of mistake you only make once...

hmm...i wonder if the length of marinade killed it. What kind of beer? that actually doesn't sound like a bad idea, maybe with like a darker beer or something..

Mmm I beleive it was a lager. I managed to save it by turning it into a peppersteak. But it certainly wouldn't have tasted so great otherwise. You might be right though. A brief marinade with a dark beer, Guinness coming to mind, might have turned out ok.

Just because I see a couple of people doing it in this thread... Don't mix acidic things and milk. You can, however, add acidic things to fermented milk products (yogurt and cottage cheese). When mixing powdered drink mixes to milk, check to see if citric acid is an ingredient, because this will cause problems.

Hmmm, acidic to cottage cheese.

I once blended cottage cheese and chocolate milk, to try and create a cassein shake. I'm not sure how I didn't vomit after choking down (and occasionally having to chew) all 24 fluid ounces of the most disgusting thing I've ever tried in my life.

I never once thought of adding orange juice. That might be a good idea, but I'm not about to go through that whole ordeal again.
