Super Bass-o-matic '76

Spokesman: How many times has this happened to you? You have a bass, and you're trying to find an exciting new way to prepare it for the dinner table. But why bother, now that you can use Rovco's amazing new kitchen tool, the Super Bass-o-Matic '76. Yes, fish-eaters, the days of troublesome scaling, cutting and gutting are over, because Super Bass-o-Matic '76 is the tool that lets you use the bass with no fish waste, and without scaling, cutting or gutting.

Here's how it works: Catch a bass, remove the hook, and drop the bass - that's the whole bass - into the Super Bass-o-Matic '76. [ drops the bass into the blender ] Now, adjust the control dial so that the bass is blended just the way you like it. [ turns blender on and grinds it to a pulp ] Yes, it's that simple!

Bass-Drinker: [ drinks a glassful of bass ] Wow, that's terrific bass!

Spokesman: We've got fish here, fast and easy and ready to pour, mmm-mmm! Super Bass-o-Matic '76 comes with ten interchangeable rotors, a nine-month guarantee, and a booklet: 1,001 Ways to Harness Bass. Here is mine. I only have it maybe 2 to 3 times a week.

16oz 1% milk
2 scoops protein
1/2 cup oats
apple or banana
tbs honey
tbs olive oil
2 tbs peanut butter

Then I wait 45min and eat my regular breakfast of 6eggs 1 cup of oats.

For a while i was adding some ice cream too.
sometimes i have this mid-day and substitute the whey protein for muscle milk.

When i'm feeling sassy i'll add the bass....mmmmmmmm:food:

It's been a while since I looked at the salmonella numbers, but if you want to use regular eggs w/ zero risk, you can just microwave them for a little while before you dump them in the blender. Tastes exactly the same, just make sure you add a couple ice cubes so your shake will be cold.

1 cup light ff yogurt, 1 cup blended oates, 2 scoops muscle milk, 1 cup ff milk, 2 tbsp natty peanut butter, half cup water. Yum yum. Makes about 3 total cups after blending, and keeps me full for about 2 hours while I'm at class. I also learned the yogurt has a lower gi than brown rice in my nutriton class!! :wtf:

Yeah brown rice is actually medium GI (55), and I always thought it was one of the better low-GI carb sources!

I've been bulking pretty clean for about 2-3 months now (4-500 cals above maintenance), with mainly brown rice as carb source, and I think I gained fat more easily than during previous bulk periods.

I was also under that impression because you look at unsweetened yogurt and it contains a good amount of sugar but it's dairy and that means the GI ain't that bad

Yeah, IW - it's lactose. Pretty low GI.
Tough to break down - which is why the whole "drink a gallon of milk in an hour" is a good bet to take.

Man, I had your shake today, I must say it was suprisingly delicious...

So egg whites are ok digestability wise? I always thought that you had to cook the egg for the protein to be used correctly (well it's what I've been told forever) Because this is way more convienient to dump some of the bucket-o-egg whites into my blender....

Cooking any type of protein will break it down more so than eating it raw...

Ok, well guess I am in the wrong! :whip:

But I do remember reading about eating too many egg whites, creates a biotin deficiency. Anyone have anything on that topic?

"Egg whites contain a glycoprotein called "avidin" which binds biotin - one of the B vitamins - very effectively. The cooking process deactivates the avidin in the egg, much the same way it deactivates every other protein in the egg white.

While it is true that eating too many raw egg whites by themselves will cause you to suffer from a biotin deficiency, the fact is that nature created the egg in such a way that its yolk is very rich in biotin. One of the highest concentration in nature. Eat the egg whole together with the egg white and you will be fine."

I take a biotin pill while just taking raw egg whites, but not while eating raw eggs. I feel all fuu fuu buying it though cuz they sell it in the women's section at GNC since it's so good for hair n nails. lol

tried it out today, and not bad...a little bland, could use some cinamon or nutmeg, something to throw a little spice in there for taste, but overall not too bad.

Do you know off hand the breakdown of the shake P/C/F?
