Ok, who doesn't love cheesy shells? Especially with hamburger, pasta shells, tomatoe's and cheese? Oh man, I am getting hungry just typing this. Plus the recipe is so damn easy.
First off heat your skillet over medium heat. Then I want you to add:
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 lb. of ground beef, lean ground beef or whatever you prefer
1/2 an onion
3 garlic cloves minced fine
Sliced or canned sliced mushrooms, optional
\cook all that until the beef is brown and the onion is soft.
Now add in a 14.5 can of tomatoes, or tomato sauce, depends on how you like the texture here. Mix together and let that simmer on the stovetop for about 10 minutes. You want everything to marry together and combine.
Now, oops, damn. I should have told you this step earlier. Of course I have told you before that i prefer you to read any recipe over and over again before you start on it. But some people only go as they read. In that case you are going to be in trouble, but don't worry dinner won't be ruined. The meat mixture can just continue to simmer.
This recipe is for 2 servings. So boil however many pasta shells that you need in order to get your daily carb intake. Once they are boiled mix them in with the meat/tomato mixture.
Now you can serve it up just like that, or you can do what I do and add cheese to it. Sometimes I add full fat cheddar and sometimes I add non fat cheese. Its up to you. Add as much as you want.
This recipe is protein packed, tasty, and should load you up with energy. Plus its to damn easy.
