cottage cheese with yogurt

I had been tryin to figure out what I could eat real quick after I workout. So I have been getting 1 cup low fat cottage cheese and 1 cup lofat yogurt (any flavor) and add one small box of raisins. Maybe a lil protein powder and mix it all up and it actually tastes pretty good. Could use some suggestions on other ways to make it. Thanks

I could be wrong, but cottage cheese is slow digesting. This is why you see it written as a before bed protein. I would say if you REALLY want to eat something right after you can eat egg whites. What I would recommend is having it with a tortilla (white since its faster digesting) and throw on some salsa for taste. HOpe that helps! btw, I would recommend whey protein for immediate after workout protein.

As a slow-digesting meal I really like to mix pumpkin puree, blueberries, full-fat plain yogurt, and full fat cottage cheese.
