Anabolic Shopping List
I'm sure many of you have been in the position of being in the supermarket without a plan, and missing something that is vital to your diet. So, with that in mind, I decided to post my shopping list and share with you the staples of my diet, in hopes that you guys will do the same.
Please feel free to question/critique anything on my list, and I'll do my best to explain why it's there, and give recipes for them if it applies.
So here goes, in no particular order,
1. Skim Milk
2. Natty Peanut Butter
3. Quaker Weight Control flavored oatmeal
4. Ground Turkey
5. 97% Lean Ground Beef
7. Egg Whites by the Carton
8. Nonfat Sour Cream
9. Nonfat Cottage Cheese
10. Variety of Frozen Berries (dark ones)
11. Organic/Natural Salsa
12. Sargento Reduced Fat 4-Cheese Mexican Blend
13. Steel Cut Oats
14. Quinoa (bulk)
15. Dry Roasted Unsalted Almonds
18. Zucchini and Squash
19. Taco Seasoning Mix
20. Romaine Lettuce
21. Activia Nonfat Yogurt
22. Canned Beans (red, black, etc)
This is pretty much it. Needless to say, have a few recipes that I make from this stuff, but I"m interested to see what you guys have to say.

Mine looks a little different than yours...CKD rules
1. Big Costco bag of Brocoli
2. Natural Peanut Butter
3. Large Container of Heavy Cream
4. Large bag of Chicken Thighs
5. Steak (whatever is on special)
6. Extra Thick Bacon
7. Costco 90 egg package
8. Costco bag of individually wrapped Salmon
Before the weekend carb up:
1. Whatever sugar cereal I'm in the mood for
2. Waxy Maize
4. Ice Cream

Cocoa Krispies! I'd snarf the whole friggin box down in one shot. I can't keep stuff like that around.

A 2 gallon mixing bowl, tub of heavy cream, and box of cocoa krispies, on a Friday night.
Sounds better than almost anything else you could do with your hands on a Friday night.

Man, I use beans with almost everything. The only downside is farting like an old farm horse, but oh well.
I do ground turkey a lot. Just cook it in a big pan with beans, corn, and a pack of Old El Paso taco mix, then put it on either a 50 calorie whole wheat flatbread, or just romaine lettuce. Tastes great with nonfat sour cream too.
I also do a turkey chili, turkey meatloaf, and turkey/quinoa burgers as well. Tuna, quinoa, beans...the possiblities are endless and beans are really good for you. Loaded with protein and fiber.

Mines really simple, I can lose bf on high carbs though and I never really use CKD or the likes.
12 grain bread
frozen fruit (blue/black berries, mixed)
fresh fruit (banana, apple, mango, prunes, ect)
ground turkey/beef and sirloin fairly sparingly
Broccoli - a must
any other cruciferous (BS, cauliflower, ect)
spinach for salads
Pretty much have it, and if you go to an ALDI or Costco it's really not that expensive. I'm pretty fortunate to be able to lose bodyfat on a higher carb intake, makes shopping less expensive.

what kind of heavy cream do yall buy? 'half n half', non-dairy creamer(wit the soy milk inside), or wha??

I get the disturbing feeling that Manimalia is downing his heavy cream over Cocoa Krispies that bastard.....
I get my cream from Dunkin Donuts with my coffee. I don't mess with anything else.

96/4 Ground Beef
99% Fat Free ground turkey
Biggest pack of boneless chicken I can find
4-5 dozen jumbo eggs
whole grain bagels
fat free cream cheese
naty peanut butter
various McCormick spices for flavoring
crushed red peppers to put on everything i eat
Dannon Light & Fit yogurt
solid white tunad
fat free shredded cheddar
reduced fat colby-jack sliced cheese
Ronzoni healthy harvest pasta (I rarely actually eat this though)
100% Orange Juice
and just like grocery store I probably forgot a few things here too.

I usually go for either fresh or frozen fruits and veggies. I've heard too many bad things about canned fruits and vegetables, the preservatives and additives, etc.

5 day low carb
- 36 eggs
- 24 frozen turkey sausage
- 24 pack string-cheese
- 2 container skippy chunky natural peanut butter
- 6 pack tuna
- 1 pack kraft singles
- 18 pack turkey burger
Carb-up: Obviously varies by current cravings
- Giant bag Dino-Bites
- 1 Gallon Milk
- 1 tub Pillsbury Frosting
- 1-2 tubs Ben and Jerry's ice cream
- 1 loaf white bread
- 2 pounds pasta
- 1 gallon sugary liquid
- Gatorade mix
- 1 package oreos
- Taco Bell
- Any other misc. stuff I see at the store that looks good.

shopping is pritty basic.
2x whole frozen chicken's
turkey / corn beef
2x cartons of eggs
2x packs of frozen egg whites
mixed frozen veggies
basically get fruitt from work as its fffreeeee....
unsalted peanut butter
whole grain bread
fat free cheese
WHEY protien (if ive run out)
dont realy eat much packed chips or junk food,
mostly get these stuff from aldi's, all tastes the same and cheaper

Just starting the anabolic diet but what mine looks like is this
2.5lbs Ground Beef
12 Bubba Burgers
3 Dozen Eggs
24ct String Cheese
Bag of Shredded Cheese whichever one i feel like getting
Salad Dressing (caesar or ranch)
Then i eat whatever on carb days try to get most of carbs from whole grains so some whole grain bread and pasta but i always get some pizza maybe a sub whatever ive been craving really but never go too wild.
