Black beans and sausage

This is worth about 535 kcals, 20g fat, 72g carbs, and 31g of protein. And it tastes pretty good.

Ingredients:
bush's best black beans (regular, not the seasoned kind)
blue ribbon hot'n'spicy sausage (you can substitute w/ another kind of sausage but it has a big impact on the smell and flavor)
tapatio salsa
black pepper grinder

Instructions:
chop the sausage, brown it in a pan, pour in the black beans, throw in a few dashes of hot sauce and grind in some fresh pepper, simmer for a few minutes.

it's also really good if you top it off with some shredded cheese and tortilla chips, but those have a lot of salt.

It doesn't look very healthy. At least the Sausage doesn't. If you substituted the sausage with some lean taco meat or some other type of lean sausage it could be a good after workout treat. I will have to try that.

I would make this with turkey sausage and I think it would be fine then.

Over-analysis + perfectionism = procrastination & wasted years
