Did Kai Green ever do a porno with people, or was it just the grapefruit?

Are you just looking at pictures or did you see an actual video? the way he moves is so unreal next to other stiff body builders. I personaly hope he wins the O someday. He reminds me of Arnold in the since that I think hes o guy whos gonna keep us entertained long after he retires from bodybuilding, assuming the modern generation BBs live that long of course.

I've seen the vids and I hear ya but I don't see it. He is off.beat so much it ain't funny... He is a freak, his ability to get into some of the positions he does is impressive, his ability to show his body in unique positions is cool but... He has no rythem at all. He is almost always off beat and when he is not it looks like an accident. To me melvin Anthony can pose... Tricky can pose...maybe I shouldn't expect him to be on beat but when I hear how GREAT he is... I expect it.
I ain't ripping the guy. Look at the pics from the Olympia and its ridiculous jay placed ahead of him and he should have won in India. I just don't get the great posing thing.

So he did pictures with other people?
From what I know and has been posted yea... Now I can't say 100% that the pics I saw were not photoshopped but its pretty common knowledge. Let me be clear though, the pics I saw did not involve any ACTUAL sex... It was like posed "pre-sex". Not saying that's ok, that's a matter of each persons moral barometer... Just saying what I saw posted.
Peace

He has a lot to be proud of. Hes had a tough life, and he was one of the better guys in the natural bodybuilding for a long time, before he gaind liked fifty or sixty pounds really quick and started doing good against the juiced guys.

I see where your comeing from, but I also think it depends on what your morals are. I personally just dont see takeing a few nudy pictures to pay the bills as anything immoral. Ive worked jobs really degradeing. In fact, a lot of people run colleges that pretty much scam people. this world is run by people far more immoral than Kai Green, and I believe many of our sexual morals were created my those same people.
Kai champion!!!
Hells ya!

I would LOVE to see it. At 270 or so no one can touch him... Even now. But the longer he is vague about competing the more I doubt he will do it but maybe with his new web site and company he will do it for the pub. It's almost like people don't remember when Ronnie was at his best no one even believed they had a chance, it was a comp for 2nd best.

I think the big thing that you are all forgetting here, is that Kai didn't just stick it into a grapefruit and go OH THIS IS FUN. For most of his bb career he was living on the brink of total poverty. He only had a small ****ty apartment somewhere in a bad area of NYC, took the bus everywhere, and had very little income. While guys like ronnie, or Jay culter were living the high life, Kai was scraping pennies together to get the food he needed to win. Thats why I find him so inspirational. he came from nothing, had nothing to work with, and he still has accomplished more in this sport then 99% of us ever will. BB and winning contests, and training and doing well was his dream, and I think if I wanted something that badly, and I had 0 money, I would probably stick mine in a grapefruit too. haha

Agreed - awesome competitor... terrible role model. I have seen this video with the grapefruit. I laughed and cried at the same time.

To me, part of being an athlete... excuse me, PROFESSIONAL athlete, its to act like a PROFESSIONAL. Which means on and off stage/work/etc you carry yourself with some dignified action. People are drawn toward certain athletes because they influence them, so what kind of influence is this sending? Perfect example of the opposite side: Derek Jeter. Classy 24/7 - and that makes him more likable and helps his career. Being eradic is what I expect of Kai but fame like that is short lived. Those who do hold a reputable image have longevity to their careers.

Ya but:
1: He wasnt a pro yet. At least from the pics I saw, he looke way smaller than the Olympian guys.
2: Has he even made enough money to move out of that apartment complex in the ghetto with the elevator that smels like urine becuase it has real urine on it yet? I know he was still living there after at least a few Olympia shows. Its not like he has a huge porno career either. Im willing to bet that the few times hes done it have been under emergencies when he didnt know how he was gonna pay the rent.
3: Whos morals are we even going by? If you can get past the fact that catholic school has made the country (even i you didnt go, there a ripple effect)uncomfortable with everything sexual, who cares? Kai is one of those dudes who paints nude models. He just seems like a sexual dude. i wish I could talk about sex at work. I wish that was professional.
4: I dont exactly get the vibe that he captain awsome social life. He probably got the call to do porno and thought "Well at least its a break from staring at the wall and feeling lonely"
5: Stallone got his start in porno. Arnold both said and did some pretty crazy stuff on camera, and his carreers still kickin. A lot of wrestlers die from too many recreational drugs. Not making a statement about steroids, but it seems as though athletes who compete in sports where everybody knows their on them live in an adult world.

yes. plus, its bodybuilding, its not necessarily something thats intriguing to most little kids (and while were on the subject... would you REALLY want your little kids looking up to and trying to emulate someone who puts insane amounts of illegal substances into his body in the first place?). not to mention, no one gets bodybuilding scholarships to schools, youre really handed nothing in life for being one and receive no real monetary gains until you make a name for yourself..... and starting out poor and broke makes matters worse when it comes to just getting by in the bb'ing world. im not going to make a judgment, especially when i dont know what its like to be in that position.

i dont necessarily SUPPORT what he did, but i dont think its any different than kids looking up to wrestlers (not as much now as back in the 90's and early 00's) many of whom were steroid-addicted, drug-addicted jerks putting out sex tapes and stuff. i like your point about 'alternative sports'.

Let's be real bro.... Your handle is "kingdong"... Your reply isn't really a shocker (chill, not a diss....just found the combination funny...and in all honesty it probably shows your age/generation....I doubt your a 40 yr old man calling yourself "kingdong").

Just a cpl points bro.

No, Kai was not still in the projects "after a cpl olympias". He did come close to retiring pretty early in his career cause of money but that was during his first year as a pro.

Many many many people have lives as tough or tougher than Kai. Many pros worked (some still do) full time regular jobs to get by instead of selling themselves.

As yourself if you HONESTLY want your child looking up to that kind of morals or activities? Let's be real... Your son goes "dad, I wanna be a pro and if its tough early I'm gonna **** fruit and do gay posing to get by.... Is that cool?"... Ask yourself how you would feel if it was your daughter.... Would you be proud? The point just is that we all KNOW what's right and wrong. People are obsessed with the whole "hey, I don't judge" bull**** but I believe it is our obligation to judge activity we deem to be inappropriate or unacceptable.

I have done PLENTY of bad things, and I judge my past actions harshly. I don't accept them and go "oops" or refuse to talk about them or get pissed if they are brought up. I did them, I own them, I will talk about them with regret. Those of us that have a problem with his past actions would have a totaly different view if he had ever come out and said, with no specifics at all, "hey, I did **** coming up I should have never done. I regret those things. I can't change the past but if I could I would. A man should never compromise himself for a dollar... Unless it comes to feeding his family" or anything like that but the fact is he gets pissed and angry and won't talk about any of it. Now ya see... That response and action shows he himself is not proud if it, he ain't just a different kinda dude that don't care cause if he was he would care or be offended but he refuses to acknowledge it was a mistake or wrong.

Just remember that those of us that have a problem with his actions take nothing away from his physique. I think he got raped at the Olympia (why do you think he was not compared to jay even once? Because the concept of jay being ahead of his was insane) and I think he had Phil beat in India but again, worst case should have been second.

I LIKE Kai. I think hr comes across as a "nice nut". I think he is out there but that's cool with me. I just don't like his past actions and his lack of acknowledging it was wrong.

Last just remember, those of us that don't like his past actions or comment on them are not telling anyone else how to feel. Feel what you like. I think many peoples opinions on things like this change big time as they go from 20 to 40. Most will have hugely different opinions at each age. That's normal.

Peace

good point, dunhill. i guess i was just looking at it like he was doing what he had to do to get by and make it in a profession thats REALLY expensive to make it in (the food, the steroids, the time in the gym taken away from 'real' work for money).

i just dont think, as a bodybuilder, he should really be viewed as a 'role model', or that he ****ed a grapefruit because 'times got tough and he didnt want to work hard for money'... that MIGHT be the case, but i dont know. if my son (i dont have kids, but if i did) told me he wants to be a pro bb'er, id be more concerned about the fact that hes a little kid looking up to people who abuse steroids for a living than what they do in their spare time

sn: kai always came off a little gay to me... didnt know about the 'gay posing', but now im almost certian he's gay as hell.... still like him a lot though, for some reason when he makes those cliche comments and talks about 'passion' i actually believe him, whereas a lot of other people seem like theyre just saying it to say it.

Damnnnnn you gotta be about my age to remember that sh*t lol
Dont know how old you are but Im 26, aqnd its just one of those those things that got back out there in the new "Lindsey Lohan hasnt had a hit since 2004 but people still care what she dose" era.

Dunhill, I completely see where your comeing from(although I still have to hold onto my "he wasn't even a pro yet" stance), but I agree with Bill's response too, and Il get back to that in a minute. LOL at the kingdong comment by the way!

Let me tell you a little about my life. When I got out of highschool, I was filled wiith optimism. I said Ill work hard and go to college, and Ill be rewarded for doing what people consider the good moral thing. Well I whent to college, and like a lot of people, after six and a half years, I still hadnt learned a skill. I didnt go to a specific trade school, but I DID trust that if the college said they had a program on something, I would actually learn alot about that thing. It was all just busy work. I gave two places six and a half years of my life, where I was even an honor student for a while, and had nothing to show for it. In defense of college, sometimes just haveing a digree can get you somewhere, but not in my feild. Also during this time, I worked at a job that messed up all my weekends, where the managers treated us like ****, but at least I could say "Im a good boy who go's to school and work. After seven years at that job, I still wasnt makeing enough money to move out. This whole degrading process pretty much ate up about 7 years of my life, where I didnt have much of anything spiritual, since I didnt have much time to hang out with friends, and didnt have time to make new friends who would actually go near girls. I was stuck in a group led by a dude with a kid that just didnt go near the opposit sex.

So ya, after that seven year waste of time where I was doing things the "good boy" way, I would be proud if my kid if he stuck his weiner in a grapefruit to make so quick money and move on with his life.

On a completely different note, if my kid ahd to look up to a pro(have to reemphasize that Kai wasnt a pro yet here) I would really hope that it wasn't Jay Cutler. His whole "Im so "professional" that I just bored in every interview" thing isn't something I would whant my kid to look up to either.

yeah, i wouldnt really say many of these guys are the modest 'im just so blessed and happy to be here' types (except for kai, but thats just my opinion)

and i know where youre coming from. i graduated a couple of years ago from a pretty good university with a degree in political science... around my 3rd or 4th out of 4.5 years i realized i could do next to nothing with that other than teach or be a lobbyist or something (neither of which i wanted to do).... thankfully my plan was to go to law school, and it all worked out (just started in august, but took a year and a half off working at my friend's family's restaurant that i used to work at in high school because no where else would hire me, not even other restaurants where i would have had experience in the field and a college degree on my resume). its insanely stressful to look at your life and think 'omg, if this doesnt work out, i have no idea what im going to do with my life'..... so good luck with your future endeavors, it can be unbearably stressful at times, especially being our age (im 25) trying to start a life as young adults in an economy where even people with TONS of experience cant get work.

You guys all seem fairly familiar with Kai's career, and I'm a fan so I was wondering you guys could help me with something that has been bothering me. Imo Kai's physique at the New York Pro this year was one of the best I've seen in a long time, but at the Olympia he looked way off. He still looked pretty good, but he just didn't look at 'dry' as he had in NY. I don't honestly think Kai could've beaten Phil this year even if he'd been in the exact same condition as he'd been in NY, but he'd probably have beaten Jay. So I'm wondering why he was less than his best? I've never done contest prep, so I don't really know about how precise things have to be. I'd just think that if you were competing in the biggest show in the states you'd come in prime condition... Kai's amazing though. Definition of a gentle giant (minus the fruit fck'n)

The most minuscule thing can throw off your water retention. Most common cause is being off on your carbing... But that's a whole long thread...lol.... BTW he still was head and shoulders above jay... He just got raped... Just like he should have beat phill in India.

I agree. Do you think his MuscleHunk's spread affected/will affect his shot at a Sandow? I'd read a theory somewhere before that Weider wouldn't permit someone who he didn't think represented the sport well to win. Phil and Jay are both pretty easy to swallow, but Kai's a little nutty. I'll be interested to see if he gets gypped in coming years.

LOL

You know what though. He made it to the top three in an Olympia where he wasnt at his best. I could see him taking number 2 for a few years and building a fan base that demands that he wins at least once, assuming that hes really that good that year of course.

Ronnie was the last Olympian ith a personalty that drew people into the sport. Ive never seen Jay, Dexter, or Phil Heath give an entertaining interview, so even with his past, I think Kai is actually are best bet for soeone who can represent the sport from a marketability standpoint.

I think Kai is a great bodybuilder....as i said he got ripped off twice but with that said... I don't see the big deal with his posing. Sure he hits some unique shots but he is devoid of rythem or just doesn't even listen to his music. Melvin can pose.... Flex was good... I just don't get the big deal about kais posing. I gotta say also we have the right to judge anothers morality...I would argue we have an obligation to judge another persons actions. I am not a fan of Kais. Maybe if at some point he would have come out and said "yea I regret that ****, it was a dumb thing to do" my opinion would change some about him, we all make mistakes but when you never admit or refuse to admit something was a mistake I can only assume that you don't feel like it is/was a mistake and that it is consistent with your moral standards. I tell no one else who to like, anyone can make all their own judgements about anyone... This is just my judgement about Kai, I think he has a price and I don't admire that....and NO...we don't all have a price (just before someone starts saying we all do). JMO.

JMO.
Ya, I see what your saying abouut morals, but I still kind of agre with what I said about morals. I guess we all have different moral compasses. It is what it is.
