Just got my first bottle of sustain - It seems to smell ok, and rubs in pretty easilly.

I felt pretty good after my application this morning, but that was probably more to do with the fact that I had just stood there rubbing it into my testicles lol.

one question though - what sort of oral dose equivalent of resveratrol are we talking about given a 4-5 pump application, ie is it worth taking oral resveratrol in addition or has sustain got the bases covered?

cheers

Your getting about 135mg of 99% Res per 5 pump application... and your absorbing almost half that over a 12-18 hr period.

I really don’t think there would be a need for more Res, but people still do it. There’s probably no harm to this.

Did you order from Nutra?

You would have only gotten a discount card if you ordered directly from us...

Shoot me a PM with your info if you made a direct order. Thanks.

1) In the Sustain Alpha directions for use, it is recommended to avoid direct application to the genitals. So, should we or should we not?
2) If we could/should, would it make sense, as an option, to do two pumps on chest/abs, one each on both biceps/triceps, and one on thighs/scrotal-testicular area?
3) Since Sustain Alpha may significantly boost testosterone synthesis, it is fairly possible that DHT levels can be elevated. Do you postulate that Toco-8 and EndoAmp can support DHT-inhibition? Or should one take a mild DHT-inhibitor in addition? It would be unfortunate to end up with androgenic sides such as hair loss.
4) Considering that icariin is a well-known testosterone mimetic, would it make sense to add it to Sustain Alpha, assuming it has an acceptably high topical availability.
5) Forskolin is a well-known cAMP modulator. Given acceptable topical suitability, could Forskolin be a possible synergistic enhancer to Clary Sage?

Hey I got to your PM first on these... but for everyone else...

Yes, scrotal apps are ok, and your plan sounds fine.

Excessive DHT should not be a concern if your on the Testosterone Recovery Stack since Toco-8 should be protecting your hair from any potential increase in DHT.

I wouldn’t add any additional ingredients to the topicals. They are maxed out as far as solubility goes.

Forskolin can be very estrogenic. In fact I personally get gyno symptoms when Im using it, and Ive also heard similar reports from others. It’s just not something we choose to work with, but yes there may be some cAMP synergy.

I'm actually looking to increase DHT after Saw Palmetto inhibiting it so should I avoid Toco-8?

No, Toco-8 won’t lower DHT. It helps protect the hair follicle by other mechanisms, so slightly higher DHT from a Test increase wouldn’t have a negative influence on the hair.

Any idea on the mechanism here, PP? I also experience estrogenic sides when using any compound containing foskohlii. I thought I was just a little crazy, but it shows up like clockwork everytime...painful little titties.

As it turns out, some flavones and isoflavones (polyphenolic phytochemicals belonging in the general class of flavoniods) that produce fat loss in animals may promote aromatase activity in humans. In particular, by elevating tissue cAMP levels through phosphodiestrase (PDE) inhibition, these flavones and isoflavones also stimulate aromatase activity in human gonads by increasing activity of cAMP-dependent alternative aromatase promoter enzymes p11 and 1.3. Usually, PDE metabolises cAMP. So PDE-inhibition boosts cAMP, leading to fat breakdown in adipose tissue. However, cAMP-boosting by these isoflavones and flavones also stimulates aromatise activity in some individuals. The isoflavone, genistein is a well known example. Forskolin, a well-known cAMP booster, appears to chart the same pathway in certain individuals.

Thanks Strategic.
It's unfortunate that I react this way. It
really limits my supplement choices considering that most decent products contain Forslean in some shape or form.
