    Hey guys.... update coming tonight. I have a few more pics to post ... and Matt is right, I'm growing and starting to feel good. I love eating more food thats for sure The injury is getting better, actually took a couple extra days off this week and I'm going to skip shoulders and chest this week to help it out. Hopefully next week I'll be on the road to growing even more !!

    Hey guys.... Ok... sorry its been abit since I've updated this log - Life gets in the way of your other life sometimes and I just wasnt able to spend the time to get it updated... but, we're done. So here we go ......

    I have since finished the AndroHard/AndroLean/AndroEnhance stack. It was a great run and I made some great gains with it. It worked so well that we will run that same stack after my 12 week "Blast" phase with AndroBulk and increased calories. The stack provided me with some nice strength gains as well as the obvious change in my physique. I ended up harder, drier and fuller by the end of the phase.

    It took about 2 - 2.5 weeks for it to kick in and by week 4 I was really feeling it. I really would recommend an 8 week run on this stack to get the best gains.

    I'm including a couple of the pics from the photoshoot which was right at the end of the run .... I think a few of them really turned out well.

    We are now about 1.5 weeks into the Blast phase and I'm just starting to maybe feel alittle something going on. I will say that with the diet change (I'm up to right at 4500 calories a day) that I have gained 5.5-6 lbs since I started. I'm still staying lean although I would say I've lost just a touch of my vascularity... but that could come back. I'm weighing right at 188 lbs first thing out of bed in the morning. With a good 10 weeks to go... I'm hoping to get to the 200 lb mark again but look much fuller, leaner and harder than I was in March of this year when I weighed 200. That was right before starting the prep for the Chicago show.

    We are training for the Masters Nationals next year... I believe it will be about the same time -- sometime in July. The plan is to come into that show at the top of middleweight class which is 176 1/4. I weighed in at 165.9 for the Chicago show. I'm gonna need that extra 10 lbs and the same shredded condition brought on by Matt to even be able to compete on the National level. I will be 49 at the time of Nationals next year so we'll see how it goes. The following year I will move up into the 50-59 age bracket...will be interesting to see how I progress in the next 1-2 years.

    I will continue to update this log since you guys are already subscribed to it... I will probably put up some pics in about 1-2 weeks so we can see my progress into the more bulking stage. Thanks guys for following and lets keep it going !!!

    Hey I have no doubt in my mind that you will turn pro in the Masters over 50 division....I know that is big talk...but with the response you have been getting from the training,diet and supps.......I see it happening. I wouldn't blow smoke up your ass, but it is actually a reality...

    Wow Matt.... that means so much to me to hear you say that. I never even considered that when I started this journey but I gotta say I think we have the long term goal in sight now. Keep taking the baby steps and turn them into something noticeable.. and keep going. I'll keep training my ass off for that long term goal. Thanks for the words Matt... more motivation my friend !!!

    Training has been going well... just still not 100% yet with the shoulder/collarbone area... again... its getting better but its one of those things I'm going really slow as I'm scared. I do not want it to be anything worse than it is right now. Gaining weight slowly (thats the plan) so we are still good on that front... still lots of vascularity and still see my abs/obliques.

    Matts gonna throw in some carbs with my pre-workout/intraworkout drinks and we'll see how that goes. I have not started that yet...but its coming Yesterday morning I weighed 189.5, this morning 188.5 ... so I'm maintaining right there for now. I can see hitting the 190's next week.

    Very excited with the results especially knowing we are just now not quite 3 full weeks in ... much, much more to come in the next 9 weeks

    I am curious on the design as well. Here is what my current preworkouts have been like:

    18g Dextrose
    1g Creatine HCL
    Preworkout powder - DMAA, Caff, Arginine (or whatever they are sticking in the premades these days)
    5g Luceine

    Wondering if I should add some Glutamine (have a ton of it here), and take it intra workout (without preworkout).

    Used this the first time Friday .... went into Chicago for a brutal quad workout and to test the chest. Workout was amazing and I'm happy to report that I was able to stress the chest enough to be very sore today. Didn't use a ton of weight (going slow) but I didn't feel anything abnormal which was a big win for me. My chest filled up so much I thought I was looking at someone elses chest on me... LOL Now to get that chest in a relaxed mode.... keep fingers crossed, things are looking good

    No need for carbs post training since he is well saturated from prior in the day and pre and during training.

    Rather not bog him down with too many things as far as ingredients since I do NOT want him to lose his appetite. Also, I rather increase his insulin sensitivity by stalling carb intake by 1 hour or so before whole food meal (which has 45 g in it)

    Nope... not to that point yet.... I am not starving but when its time to eat... I eat it all with no problem. There are times when I'm "more hungry" than others but I have yet to see that its time to eat and say... ughhh not again.

    Ok... so we are now into the 4th week of this phase. I haven't gained alot of weight but I really feel that I'm fuller/bigger in the mirror. I've gained about 8-9 lbs since I started but have only gained a couple pounds in the last 2 weeks. My body also seems to burn the calories fairly fast so we may need to make another adjustment in the diet. I am doing cardio 3 times a week for 30 minutes...again this whole off-season is to put on quality lbs, I do not want to look like I did prior to pre-contest dieting... 200 lbs but very soft, no abs and face looked like marshmallow man..LOL. This 189 is much better than my last 189 so we are on the right track.

    Strength is going up I will say.... increased my squat by 40 lbs with full range reps, very happy with that. Also leg press has increased and I'm able to go more reps on all my other exercises.... so that is a welcomed change.

    I will start filming again next week as my daughter can now get to the gym so I will work hard to get some videos posted late next week after some training.

    Happy so far with the "off-season" and I'm sure it will get better. One thing that has been holding me back is the injury I have with my left shoulder/pec area...been bugging me for about 4 weeks. It is getting better but it just takes so long to heal it seems as I get older LOL. I'm hoping to do alittle more next week with it and hopefully the following week really be able to get a decent workout in. I just have to be patient although thats not my personality...

    Sounds good Tony.

    If you think you can handle more food or more "free meals" I will advise this Friday.

    I just want that shoulder to heal --- i have dealt with a bad shoulder since 3 months.

    I can only do certain chest movements and shoulder exercises. It is definitely an annoyance and inconvenience.
