| Registered User | i tried the COC grippers for the first time last week! was well able to close the trainer but just missed out on the no. 1! I ordered the trainer, 1 & 1.5 from ironmind.com! what would be the ideal amount of traing sessions, sets , reps etc... to benefit the best from these??? also have a plastic handle gripper which i can close a few hundred times (not sure if this would have any use in a grip strength routine) !!! what lifts would most benefit from improved grip??? |

| must take steroids | Honestly, after a couple of weeks using COCs your grip will NOT be the weakest link in any of your lifts what so ever. Deads and pullups are where I noticed the most improvement. Hype Free. Westside is the bestside. Do work! NSCA: Certified strength and conditioning specialist by day, crime-fighter by night. |

| Registered User | I love the COC.. I started with the trainer and was able to get 8 reps. I can now get over 20 with the trainer and get the number 1 for 8-10 reps... I just ordered the 1.5. |

| Registered User | Deadlifts are where I notice grip limitations most, but most any pull will really benefit. I started off with the trainer (100lb) and was surprised I could close it so easily. I still used it after my deadlifts for a couple sets of 20 and then static hold for as long as possible. I just ordered the #1 and #2. I agree they are quite fun. It is sometimes hard not to pick it up and start squeezing it randomly, but I suppose it's best to leave it for those workouts for proper recovery...? Enjoy! |

| Registered User | I would really like to increase my grip strength also, I have never used straps but they are looking like a nice idea. Im having a hard time with 335+ deadlifts for 4 reps, I get to about the 3rd and which ever hand I have that is not reversed starts to fail, forcing me to set down the weight and readjust my grip for the last lift. After these 2 more weeks of this PL program Im switching to a Power/Rep Range/Shock program, 9 weeks of 3 week rotation. 6'2 208 lbs - Supps cycle -JP8 (8/2/08)- ( --08) "Im gonna have me some Fun" "Everybody pities the Weak, Jealousy you have to Earn."
