Deadlifting Injuries

  1. Deadlifting Injuries

    Recently I got a umbilical Hernia from dead lifting (495-5). I was wearing a 4 inch suede powerlifting belt. I was wondering when deadlifting are u supposed to suck ure core and tighten it or blow it out? I believe i blow mine out which may be the source of my problem. Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. After my surgery on Monday i wana hit 600!!!!!!!


  2. Blow it out. Sucking in, and flexing your abs will make your back round. hope that helps

  3. yeah thanks man, im just real concerned now about blowing it out and having nothing holding my intestines in
