| Registered User | Deadlifting Injuries Recently I got a umbilical Hernia from dead lifting (495-5). I was wearing a 4 inch suede powerlifting belt. I was wondering when deadlifting are u supposed to suck ure core and tighten it or blow it out? I believe i blow mine out which may be the source of my problem. Please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
