Sorry about neglecting my workout log over here. Anyway, here's the videos of my results at my meet:

661 SQ:
683 SQ Miss:
369 BP:
551 DL:

Nice lifts man. You are quite explosive on your squats. what was your weight class? and how did you do overall?
Thanks Chemist. I was a 275er. I'm not too sure on my results, I'll know more when they are posted up here later this week. I didn't go in expecting much, as I was competing against a number of heavy hitters. But I had fun and set some PRs, so it was a good day.

Strong stuff. Looks like you could have done a fair amount more on all of those.

Why was the 683 squat a miss, I didn't see it?

I got called on depth. The judges thought I was a bit too high, but the side judge I spoke to said it was close.

As long as you had a good time and thought it was a worth while experience is all that matters. Keep getting stronger and soon enough you'll be one of those "Heavy Hitters". still very impressive numbers.

I see. Your power out of the hole is impressive. You could certainly nail 683.

I know when you compete you want to go with weights you are pretty sure you will be able to nail for certain, but man you made those lifts look easy.

Unofficially have you had PRs higher than those?

Outstanding job regardless, especially the squat

Thanks BC. On squat and deadlift, those were all time PRs for me. The most I had done up to that point was 585 on squat and 520 on DL. My PR on bench is 385 in the gym in the same shirt, but I missed my opener and had to take it again on my 2nd, then I made too big of a jump on my third attempt and missed 413.

VERY IMPRESSIVE!

Nice job!

Brandwhore! I noticed one of two things on the squat. Youre ****ing brutally explosive on squats, or IMHO, the 683 shouldve stayed in the warmup room. Nice lifting!

Brandwhore? Damn right I am, the best on the market right there. :D Thanks JP, I let my training partner call my last attempt on squats. It was my first meet back, so we really didn't have any measuring stick to go by in that. Plus, something I've noticed is, that if I can get a bit of spring out of the hole for the first few inches, I do have a tremendous amount of hip explosion. If I lose a squat, I tend to lose it in the hole and not really anywhere else. We'll remedy that in October at my next meet though. I plan to hit 8 or higher there.

Keep my posted on the Lexen meet man.

Put some damn weight on the bar!

Honestly, that squat and deadlift weight was way too light. Unless you are those types that either get it, or not w/o the ability to grind it out. Regardless, I think you had atleast 50lbs on the platform.

Thanks for the honesty Cerberus. In retrospect, yes, I should have gone a bit heavier on my attempts. My deadlift had been hit or miss up until that point, and 551 was an all time PR for me. It was the same issue with the squat, it was quite a bit more than I had ever done and it was the first meet my current training partner had handled me and I let him call my second and third attempts in SQ and DL. It was a good learning experience for me and let me know where I stood. It would seem that I left a good bit in the tank, perhaps a bit too much. But I won't make the same mistake at my next meet in October. Thanks again. :)
