Rock climbing as gpp?

I've been climbing for a couple months now and I was wondering on peoples thoughts of wether or not it would be a good gpp. When I claim I never reach full fatigue in any muscle, except maybe my grip. I was thinking of doing climbing as gpp one or two days a week and also using it as my grip training since I've never found anything better in that aspect. Do you guys think it would be too much work for GPP?
 
I'll interested to see what other think too. I have free access to a sweet rock climbing facility. I want to take advantage and as thinking it would be kick ass GPP for powerlifting. It's such a great workout. I don't see why it would hurt as long your lifts don't go down and you eat enough. The grip workout you get is a bonus for deadlifting too.
