Board Sponsor | 2nd workout back from sickness Today was my 2nd chest workout back from being sick, I was hoping it would go better than it did, but I can't expect too much after being off that long (took 3 weeks off from training, but did a meet in the middle, lol) Flat bench 135x10 - cg 225x10 - cg 315x10 - cg 405x10 - cg 515x10 - cg 550x5x2 575x3 (could have done more but my shoulder started hurting a little and I didn't want to push it) my shoulders and tris were still sore from my workout on friday so I did a lot more warming up than normal, I also decided to do more reps than normal since I wasn't really trying to max out at all. I think for my next chest workout I will work up to 600lbs and see how many reps I can get with that, I am hoping for at least 4 if my shoulders aren't hurting. I will be doing less sets to help accomplish this. *cg= close grip You want advice on how to get bigger and stronger? Do Work!!! I promise you will have to go back to the drawing board more than once, but experience is the best teacher there is. DO WORK! |
