Just started today... Deadlift.

Any advice to help do deadlifts if when i do them, i feel a pain in my lower back. HOw do i correct that?

It's nearly impossible to give any specific advice without video in this case. Most of the time it's a technique issue if you are feeling pain with DL's. Do an internet search for "Mark Rippetoe + deadlift" and you should find some very detailed instructions regarding how to DL correctly. You could also video yourself deadlifting and post it where some experienced lifters can take a look at it and give you some feedback.
If your back is still hurting, take at least a couple weeks off of deadlifting and let things calm down and then start back very light and make sure your technique is perfect. If your back is OK now, just start back very light and get your technique dialed in.

ed coan was about your height, and pulled mid 700s at your weight, as an example. if you were to gain some muscle and perfect your skill, you could get up in the 500-600 range in a couple years with proper training.
