For xmas i want to reup on some new gear to assist with lifting.
Thus far i plan on getting versa grips for my hands
Iron Wraps-z for my knees
What type of glove and power belt do you buy rec?
Thanks
if gloves are a must for you, just get the versa grip Pros, they easily double as gloves (if you are just seeking to protect the hands). if you want something different that will be eye-catching get some gorilla grips (Invalid Link Removed; they've been on my xmas list for years but no one bothers getting them for me :grumpy:
As for belts, anything from Inzer or APT, just a matter of taste; I've had the Inzer lever belt for a year and love it for squatting. I might bet a soft DL belt from Spud as normal belts dig into my rib cage.
for wrist and knee wraps, i am biased towards APT, the Inzer material does nto compare to APTs (personal opinion after using both).
I settled on the 10mm forever buckle belt
Has anyone used the versa grips? If they support wrist then that's prob what i will get.
If not wrist wraps.
If i were to go with Atp wraps, would i need chalk for gripping then?
any idea if the versa grips support the wrists for heave pressing movements? That would serve a triple purpose gloves, wraps and straps
would APT 24" Blue Mamba Wrist Wraps not provide good support for benching? or should i go with the convict series
3 quick things.
is 24' good enough length?
also what series for knee wraps? & length. i do not press crazy weight but want something good that will last
lastly, is there any way to protect my hands with light gloves or something while haveing wraps on my wrists?
thx
