Where do i find meets?

This seems like a pretty retarded problem, but I am having a hek of a time finding a meet to compete in. This would be my first meet and am looking for some info. I have found some sites that give the weakest information. If you were planning on competing in a meet where would you find the information about signing up for one?

Also get the latest copy of Powerlifting USA. They've got listings of more meets than you can enter! Good Luck!
