OK, finally got a chance to try all my PowerChews samples so here's my review. Gonna review the Pre-workout separate since that will be more about the performance enhancement and a little less about the flavor.
Flavor: 10/10 (glutamine, BCAA & Creapure)
These lil' mothers pack some good flavor for a supplement candy! I've sampled the ON amino chews before and I didn't like them one, they weren't bad but not candy-like (to me anyways). Powerchews weren't chalky-tasting like the others and really tasted like a Sweet Tarts (although not as solid as one).
Creapure and glutamine are almost flavorless so I wasn't so worried with them ,I was most skeptical with the BCAA chews since as we all know aminos taste horrid without flavoring and sometimes even with flavoring they are unbearable. I think just about anyone would find these quite pleasing if you're craving a little sweetness or just plain tired of drinking supps or swallowing copious amounts of caps/tabs.
Other Comments:
I'd like to point out that I experienced NO stomach discomfort from the Xylitol (sugar alcohol). I've had a few products (including protein bars) give me severe stomach cramps from sugar alcohols so I made sure to do a little experimenting with this. I took the Creapure chews pre-workout to see if it upset my stomach, nothing. Then, postworkout I took the BCAAs & the glutamine together to see if there would be any cramping, nothing still.
