pct basics

This will be my first cycle and need a little help . I have been doing my research on phera-bol and need help with the post cycle therapy . There is a lot of information to consider . I have a good idea on what all i need while on and off the cycle . I need a little help narrowing it all down . What do i really need .

age 36
6' 2"
275 lb
just got back in the gym .

Well for starters, read the stickies. A SERM is the base of your PCT. After that, there are cortisol blockers, AIs, and test boosters, but a lot of times these are optional.

Take my advice and get a SERM before you buy your cycle. God forbid anything goes wrong in the first few days, you can go right to PCT without having to worry about ordering and waiting.

Toremifene is very popular on this board, as it is known for getting libido back within a week or so.

Nolva and Clomid are other SERMs.

IMO, I would go with Torem or Nolva.

Thanks , I already have the phera-bol and just want to make sure i get all else that i need before i start . Also what about during the cycle .

if you just got back in the gym.....why don't you wait for a couple of months before running anything. 6'2" 275...you're already 1 big mother.....do you have diet and training in line? just asking because you're new here...don't know anything about ya. if these ?'s seem stupid please know that i'm not trying to offend just get some background is all. again 6'2"..dahm.....

I totally understand the questions . I am planning on waiting a month or so just trying to get all the info i can so i can sort it all out .

OH , as far as diet , just the basic eating cleaner , more protein . I am taking the normal supplements casein protein , whey protein , creatine , l-arginine .

if i had to do everything over again my training and diet would have been as tight as possible before even touching any kind of supp. (other than what you mentioned above) i made the BIG mistake of thinking that if i just ate allot of chicken,rice,greens and so on, kept on eye on the sat. fat content that, that was enough in the diet dept. MAN I WAS WRONG (again not saying this is what you are/have done). also thought that if i lifted for about an hour and did cardio like every other day (to keep cut) or not @ all (to gain mass) that, that was enough in the actual gym dept. MAN I WAS WRONG. And again i thought that be reading the boards for 1 or 2 months i could learn enough about cycles,PCT,lipids,estrongen,test.....ETC. MAN I WAS WRONG, example (i did a 4 week epistane cycle-went fine but only kept 4 lbs. out of 12 i put on, now i did allot of research and thought i had enough info but again I WAS WRONG.....the reason I'm throwing myself "under the bus" and embarrassing myself a bit, is only because i don't want you to have the same experience i did....sure when i was "on" i felt great but not keeping more of the gains really sucked. if you feel that your diet and training are as "dialed in" as they can be, and you're going to run a cycle anyway than i would start here http://anabolicminds.com/forum/post-cycle-therapy/66113-no-excuses-no.html and here http://anabolicminds.com/forum/supplements/71666-what-supplements-what.html also here http://anabolicminds.com/forum/steroids/64820-designer-steroid-prohormone.html don't forget here http://anabolicminds.com/forum/cycle-info/69026-how-newbie-learned.html and http://anabolicminds.com/forum/steroids/54614-total-newbie-guide.html now after all my rambling this info IMO is a good start. i hope i didn't come off like a "know it all" just trying to help you not make the same mistakes i did and jump into wasting $ and time on supps and other things before putting "1st things 1st" and not "putting the cart b4 the horse" as they say....

Thanks for the help . This is the kind of information i need . It always helps to know why you are taking something and what it does for you rather than just because someone said , take this or you need this .
