Why do you take nolvadex?

Of course I always take a SERM post cycle, and it's usually Nolva.

It doesn't lower estrogen and some guy on here said its not effective for preventing or treating gyno... so what's the purpose?

What are the benefits of taking it?
Why do you take it?

I personally use clomid instead of nolva, but nolva has an affinity for the estrogen receptors in the breast tissue, so while it won't resolve the issue of having high estrogen levels, it can lower your chances of developing gyno from that high estrogen because it binds to those receptor sites, making it harder for estrogen to make its way in there and give you boobies.
Also, since it's a SERM, it stimulates the production of natural LH and FSH, which in turn brings your testosterone levels back up out of the dirt. I believe clomid is more effective in this regard, though.

No problem.
Some people get some emotional sides from clomid, so some prefer nolva over clomid for PCT.
Kinda seems to just come down to personal preference, as with most things.
