ok i went to my endocrinologist and they took blood from me. test levels were at 1028 and my estrogen levels were at 48.3. she said she wasnt going to prescribe me to anything because my estrogen levels would eventually go back to normal on their own. well the problem is, i dont really want to wait that long. are there any over the counter supplements i can take to get my estrogen down? and how long do you guys think it will be till my estrogen levels are normal. i have no libido and cant get a full erection.

thanks guys,
-eric

Get on some topical formastane. No need for an script AI right now. The form may do the trick.. What were your estro levels normally?

That's some high t man

Estro may be normal when t is that high but seriously you need to knock it down to mid 20"s or a littl higher

I'd go with aromasin. And not mess with anything else

What are you on? Or How much test are you on right now?

48 isn't that high, I personally wouldn't monkey with it. Generally an endo would consider it high over 65 or so.

well i took blood while i was still on tamoxifen if that makes any difference. ive been off the nolva for a little over a week now. i ran 40/40/20 then stopped. im not on anything now.

why is my libido still shot then if my hormone levels are fine?

with a total test of under 30, and estrogen i think over 70, i still got erections and had sex. Those 2 hormones arent the only thing affecting that. probably part of why it is elevated at all is the tamoxifen.

Do you have desire but no ability or no desire either?

It can still be related to cortisol levels, prolactin, dopamine, etc. If you want to have sex, but are primarily having erection issues at least you can get viagra/cialis/levitra/etc to help with that part. When the hormone levels are really messed up, you wouldn't even be interested....

Your estrogen levels should be back at whatever they normally are within 2-3 weeks after you stopped tamoxifen in case that is a part of it.

my sex drive DEFINITELY isnt where it normally is. when me and my girlfriend start hookin up or whatever its very hard for me to get aroused but i still want to do it. will the cortisol, prolacton, and dopamine levels be on the hormone panel that i took? im going to call my doc and get the full blood work faxed to me, take a picture, and post it on here on monday.

cortisol isn't likely, prolactin may be, dopamine almost definitely won't be.

Also where is your blood pressure at compared to pre-cycle, and what do you have for precycle bloodwork?

my blood pressure was checked just a few days ago and its fine now. it was high when i was on the tamoxifen for some reason but when i got off of it it quickly went back to normal. and for precycle blood work, unfortunately, i have none.
