40 Points That Prove That Barack Obama And Mitt Romney Are Essentially The Same Candidate

By Michael, on August 15th, 2012
The American Dream

What a depressing choice the American people are being presented with this year. We are at a point in our history where we desperately need a change of direction in the White House, and we are guaranteed that we are not going to get it. The Democrats are running the worst president in American history, and the Republicans are running a guy who is almost a carbon copy of him.

The fact that about half the country is still supporting Barack Obama shows how incredibly stupid and corrupt the American people have become. No American should have ever cast a single vote for Barack Obama for any political office under any circumstances. He should never have even been the assistant superintendent in charge of janitorial supplies, much less the president of the United States.

The truth is that Barack Obama has done such a horrible job that he should immediately resign along with his entire cabinet. But instead of giving us a clear choice, the Republicans nominated the Republican that was running that was most similar to Barack Obama. In fact, I don't think we have ever had two candidates for president that are so similar.

Yes, there are a few minor differences between them, but the truth is that we are heading into Obama's second term no matter which one of them gets elected. The mainstream media makes it sound like Obama and Romney are bitter ideological *****s but that is a giant lie. Yeah, they are slinging lots of mud at each other, but they both play for the same team and the losers are going to be the American people.

Republicans are being told that they have "no choice" but to vote for Romney because otherwise they will get another four years of Obama.

This "lesser of two evils" theme comes out every four years. We are told that we "must" vote for a horrible candidate because the other guy is even worse.

Well, millions of Americans are getting sick of this routine. Perhaps that is why it is being projected that as many as 90 million Americans of voting age will not vote this year.

Yes, Barack Obama has been so horrible as president that it ishard to put it into words.

But Mitt Romney would be just like Barack Obama.

Those that are dreaming of a major change in direction if Romney is elected are going to be bitterly, bitterly disappointed.
The following are 40 ways that Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are essentially the same candidate....

1. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both supported TARP.

2. Mitt Romney supported Barack Obama's "economic stimulus" packages.

3. Mitt Romney says that Barack Obama's bailout of the auto industry was actually his idea.

4. Neither candidate supports immediately balancing the federal budget.

5. They both believe in big government and they both have a track record of being big spenders while in office.

6. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both fully support the Federal Reserve.

7. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are both on record as saying that the president should not question the "independence" of the Federal Reserve.

8. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have both said that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke did a good job during the last financial crisis.

9. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both felt that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke deserved to be renominated to a second term.

10. Both candidates oppose a full audit of the Federal Reserve.

11. Both candidates are on record as saying that U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has done a good job.

12. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have both been big promoters of universal health care.

13. Mitt Romney was the one who developed the plan that Obamacare was later based upon.

14. Wall Street absolutely showers both candidates with campaign contributions.

15. Neither candidate wants to eliminate the income tax or the IRS.

16. Both candidates want to keep personal income tax rates at the exact same levels for the vast majority of Americans.

17. Both candidates are "open" to the idea of imposing a Value Added Tax on the American people.

18. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both believe that the TSA is doing a great job.

19. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both supported the NDAA.

20. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both supported the renewal of the Patriot Act.

21. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both believe that the federal government should be able to indefinitely detain American citizens that are considered to be terrorists.

22. Both candidates believe that American citizens suspected of being terrorists can be killed by the president without a trial.

23. Barack Obama has not closed Guantanamo Bay like he promised to do, and Mitt Romney actually wants to double the number of prisoners held there.

24. Both candidates support the practice of "extraordinary rendition".

25. They both support the job-killing "free trade" agenda of the global elite.

26. They both accuse each other of shipping jobs out of the country and both of them are right.

27. Both candidates are extremely soft on illegal immigration.

28. Neither candidate has any military experience. This is the first time that this has happened in a U.S. election since 1944.

29. Both candidates earned a degree from Harvard University.

30. They both believe in the theory of man-made global warming.

31. Mitt Romney has said that he will support a "cap and trade" carbon tax scheme (like the one Barack Obama wants) as long as the entire globe goes along with it.

32. Both candidates have a very long record of supporting strict gun control measures.

33. Both candidates have been pro-abortion most of their careers. Mitt Romney's "conversion" to the pro-life cause has been questioned by many. In fact, Mitt Romney has made millions on Bain Capital's investment in a company called "Stericycle" that incinerates aborted babies collected from family planning clinics.

34. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both believe that the Boy Scout ban on openly gay troop leaders is wrong.

35. They both believe that a "two state solution" will bring lasting peace between the Palestinians and Israel.

36. Both candidates have a history of nominating extremely liberal judges.

37. Like Barack Obama, Mitt Romney also plans to add "signing statements" to bills when he signs them into law.

38. They both have a horrible record when it comes to job creation.

39. Both candidates believe that the president has the power to take the country to war without getting the approval of the U.S. Congress.

40. Both candidates plan to continue running up more government debt even though the U.S. government is already 16 trillion dollars in debt.

i cant tell who Romney is. He has taken both sides of every position. Just don't know who he is. Is he Governor Romney where he was very liberal or is he republican candidate Romney who is very conservative? Also more income tax returns need to be released.

Lol, Romney is whatever is popular with the Republican Party in the race he's trying to win. He can go as far left or right as neccessary to have the mainstream viewpoint of his biggest voting block.

Obamney, I like that as much as George W. Obama.

Dont pay much attention to what they state, take it all with a grain of salt. Whats important is to see where the money is coming from. If you want answers to your questions, when it comes to government follow the money.

Romney

Obama

Now Goldman Sachs is Romney's #1 Campaign contributor, but they were Obama's #1 contributor from 2008.

Now lets look at some 2012 individual contributions from Goldman Sachs (I can do the same with Chase and Bank of America if I did the research,) and you can start to put the pieces together and start to see how both sides are financed by the same people. If you think the Vice President of Goldman Sachs is contributing to Obama because of his values then that will be up to you.

I support #25 completely. And #39 has been happening since the days of "The imperial Presidency", not to mention only Jimmy Carder and Ford were the only clowns in the presidency to not do anything like this because they wanted to get the people on board with "Trusting the Government" again after Tricky Dick's escapades with the CREEP...

Some of the 40 are spot on, but others are no more than conjecture.

I do agree with ax however, that what's said during a campaign is meaningless.....they all say whatever it will take to get elected.

Romney wants to be the most powerful man on the planet but he can't give us 5 years of 1040s. It baffles me that anybody would accept this.

The issue with that is that it distracts and conditions people into thinking the income tax system should be a legitimate part of the US government. It keeps everyone from the real issue which is to revoke the idea of the income tax and the IRS enforcers.

There no free country when a man does not own his own labor, income tax is slavery.

What's funny about this is that he has given the same amount as other candidates before him. T truly is a distraction tactic.

We don't live in a country of freedom, we live in a country of National Securities :D. Whoever still believes America is the land of the free where the poor can get rick...well they are simply the remnants of those who believe in the Algerian Myth, or modern day Charles Ponzi's ;)!

Everyone has the ability to be wealthy and live a life of financial independence regardless of who is president. Obviously presidency is important but if you think that one candidate or another is going to save your ass from being broke you're a fool. Everyone wants a free ride and feels obligated to something, but the fact is if all you do is watch TV why should you get a handout. This is the direction of Americans today. Entitlement mentality. "I should get something for nothing" it the presidents fault(not sayin Obama isn't a jackass)

98% of Americans are broke today because they work a job and have no tax benefits. They let a corp company be in charge of their pay, worth, time and work at building someone elses dream. Then they wonder why they dont have money in there checkbook. The system is not designed for you to win while receiving a w4. You win when you practice free enterprise(1099 income)! That's why you see these foreigners who have lived here less time then you but accumulated riches. Capitalism. I love it.

If we had more business owners we would thrive. But we are slowing approaching a socialistic society because Lazy asses want something for nothing. If you continue to have a JOB you will continue To bitch about who is president. But if you go out and practice free enterprise like we did in the early 1900s America will continue to be a super power. Before the turn of the century 80% of Americans had their own business and we were kicking ass.

Today we complain about the president when the fact of matter is that Americans have gotten lazy and lost their drive to be the best. If you support socialism you should move to another country.

I know this was a little off the subject but I've Spoke to allot of damn dummies lately

Nice post. FWIW it's worth I remember growing up and listening to people bitch about the awful economy where I grew up during Clinton's run where comparatively the economy is booming. Politicians (especially Presidents) make convenient people to blame for people who are usually too lazy to get anything done themselves. A lot of Americans have become soft and lazy, and want to blame this fact on someone else.

I give up. Everything is fixed. This country is heading in a direction that the super powerful want it to. It doesn't matter what we want because there are too many stupid, uneducated and people not from our country voting. Heck, Obama came back to the US as a foreign exchange student and no matter how much we complain about "any" of his documents, nothing happens.

Dont be discouraged. I understand how much of a mess its out there and understand how you feel, but dont let politics suck the life out of you.

We can stay in a state of happiness within all this chaos and still continue to actively contribute. The worse that can happen is that we will lose and we should accept failure as norm...the strong will still survive, we can be strong.

2012 US Elections: Obamney vs. Rombama

War, economic collapse, and personal devastation await Americans no matter who they vote for - and what we should do instead.

Tony Cartalucci

Land Destroyer Reprot
Saturday, August 25, 2012

August 25, 2012 -A vote for Obama will bring war with Syria, Iran, and eventually Russia and China. The economy will continue to suffer in order to bolster the interests of off-shore corporate-financier interests, while the collective prospects of Americans continue to whither and blow away. A vote for Romney, however, will also bring war with Syria, Iran, and eventually Russia and China. The economy will also continue to suffer in order to bolster the interests of off-shore corporate-financier interests, while the collective prospects of Americans continue to whither and blow away. Why?

Because the White House is but a public relations front for the corporate-financier interests of Wall Street and London. A change of residence at the White House is no different than say, British Petroleum replacing its spokesman to superficially placate public opinion when in reality the exact same board of directors, overall agenda, and objectives remain firmly in place. Public perception then is managed by, not the primary motivation of, corporate-financier interests.

It is the absolute folly to believe that multi-billion dollar corporate-financier interests would subject their collective fate to the whims of the ignorant, uninformed, and essentially powerless voting masses every four years. Instead, what plays out every four years is theater designed to give the general public the illusion that they have some means of addressing their grievances without actually ever changing the prevailing balance of power in any meaningful way.

The foreign policy of both Obama and Romney is written by the exact same corporate-financier funded think-tanks that have written the script for America's destiny for the last several decades.

Bush = Obama = Romney

As was previously reported, while the corporate media focuses on non-issues, and political pundits accentuate petty political *****ries between the "left" and the "right," a look deeper into presidential cabinets and the authors of domestic and foreign policy reveals just how accurate the equation of "Bush = Obama = Romney" is.

Image: Professional spokesmen, representative not of the American people but of Fortune 500 multinational corporations and banks. Since the time of JP Morgan 100 years ago, the corporate-financier elite saw themselves as being above government, and national sovereignty as merely a regulatory obstacle they could lobby, bribe, and manipulate out of existence. In the past 100 years, the monied elite have gone from manipulating the presidency to now reducing the office to a public relations functionary of their collective interests.
....

George Bush's cabinet consisted of representatives from FedEx, Boeing, the Council on Foreign Relations, big-oil's Belfer Center at Harvard, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Circuit City, Verizon, Cerberus Capital Management, Goldman Sachs, and the RAND Corporation, among many others.

Image: The Henry Jackson Society is just one of many Neo-Conservative think-tanks, featuring many of the same people and of course, the same corporate sponsors. Each think-tank puts on a different public face and focuses on different areas of specialty despite harboring the same "experts" and corporate sponsors.
....

His foreign policy was overtly dictated by "Neo-Conservatives" including Richard Perle, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Jeane Kirkpatrick, Paul Wolfowitz, James Woolsey, Richard Armitage, Zalmay Khalilzad, Elliot Abrams, Frank Gaffney, Eliot Cohen, John Bolton, Robert Kagan, Francis Fukuyama, William Kristol, and Max Boot - all of whom hold memberships within a myriad of Fortune 500-funded think-tanks that to this day still direct US foreign policy - even under a "liberal" president. These include the Brookings Institution, the International Crisis Group, the Foreign Policy Initiative, the Henry Jackson Society, the Council on Foreign Relations, and many more.

Image: A visual representation of some of the Brookings Institution's corporate sponsors. Brookings is by no means an exception, but rather represents the incestuous relationship between US foreign and domestic policy making and the Fortune 500 found in every major "think-tank." Elected US representatives charged with legislative duties, merely rubber stamp the papers and policies drawn up in these think-tanks.
....
Obama's cabinet likewise features representatives from JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, the Council on Foreign Relations, Fortune 500 representatives Covington and Burling, Citi Group, Freedie Mac, and defense contractor Honeywell. Like Bush's cabinet, foreign policy is not penned by Obama sitting behind his desk in the Oval Office, but rather by the very same think-tanks that directed Bush's presidency including the Council on Foreign Relations, RAND Corporation, the Brookings Institution, the International Crisis Group, and the Chatham House. There are also a myriad of smaller groups consisting of many of the same members and corporate sponsors, but who specialize in certain areas of interest.

Image: Obama, not a Marxist. A visual representation of current US President Barack Obama's cabinet's corporate-financier ties past and present. As can be plainly seen, many of the same corporate-financier interests represented in Obama's administration were also represented in Bush's administration.
....

And with Mitt Romney, "running for president" against Obama in 2012, we see already his foreign policy advisers, Michael Chertoff, Eliot Cohen, Paula Dobrainsky, Eric Edelman, and Robert Kagan, represent the exact same people and corporate-funded think-tanks devising strategy under both President Bush and President Obama.

While Presidents Bush and Obama attempted to portray the West's global military expansion as a series of spontaneous crises, in reality, since at least as early as 1991, the nations of Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, and many others that previously fell under the Soviet Union's sphere of influence, were slated either for political destabilization and overthrow, or overt military intervention. While the public was fed various narratives explaining why Bush conducted two wars within the greater global "War on Terror," and why Obama eagerly expanded these wars while starting new ones in Libya and now Syria, in reality we are seeing "continuity of agenda," dictated by corporate-financier elite, rubber stamped by our elected representatives, and peddled to us by our "leaders," who in reality are nothing more than spokesmen for the collective interests of the Fortune 500.

Image: The International Crisis Group's corporate sponsors reveal a pattern of mega-multinationals intertwined with not only creating and directing US, and even European foreign policy, but in carrying it out. ICG trustee Kofi Annan is in Syria now carrying out a ploy to buy time for NATO-backed terrorists so they can be rearmed, reorganized, and redeployed against the Syrian government for another Western-backed attempt at regime change - all done under the guise of promoting "peace."
....

No matter who you vote for in 2012 - until we change the balance of power currently tipped in favor of the Fortune 500, fed daily by our money, time, energy, and attention, nothing will change but the rhetoric with which this singular agenda is sold to the public. Romney would continue exactly where Obama left off, just as Obama continued exactly where Bush left off. And even during the presidencies of Bill Clinton and Bush Sr., it was the same agenda meted out by the same corporate-financier interests that have been driving American, and increasingly Western destiny, since US Marine General Smedley Butler wrote "War is a Racket" in 1935.

What Should We Do About It?

1. Boycott the Presidential Election: The first immediate course of action when faced with a fraudulent system is to entirely disassociate ourselves from it, lest we grant it unwarranted legitimacy. Boycotting the farcical US elections would not impede the corporate-financier "selection" process and the theatrical absurdity that accompanies it, but dismal voter turnout would highlight the illegitimacy of the system. This in many ways has already happened, with voter turnout in 2008 a mere 63%, meaning that only 32% of America's eligible voters actually voted for Obama, with even fewer voting for runner-up John McCain.

Ensuring that this mandate is even lower in 2012 - regardless of which PR man gets selected, and then highlighting the illegitimacy of both the elections and the system itself is the first step toward finding a tenable solution. People must divest from dead-ends. Presidential elections are just one such dead-end.

Focusing on local elections and governance first, not only emphasizes the primacy of local self-determination, but affords us a grassroots-up approach to transforming our communities, and collectively our nation back into something truly representative of the people.

2. Boycott and Replace the Corporate Oligarchy: The corporate-financier interests that dominate Western civilization did not spring up overnight. It is through generations of patronage that we the people have granted these corporate-financier interests the unwarranted influence they now enjoy. And today, each day, we collectively turn in our paychecks to the global "company store," providing the summation of our toil as fuel for this oligarchy's perpetuation.

By boycotting the goods, services, and institutions of this oligarchy, we steal the fire out from under the proverbial cauldron - the very source of the current paradigm's power. While it is impractical to commit overnight to a full-spectrum boycott, we can begin immediately by entirely boycotting corporations like Coca-Cola and Pepsi, Kraft, Unilever and others by simply supporting local businesses and our local farmers market. This "voting with one's wallet" is a form of democracy that unlike elections, will undoubtedly shift the balance of power toward a system more representative of the people's interests.

By creating self-reliant communities independent of the machinations of corporate-financier interests, we provide ourselves with the greatest form of insurance against instability and uncertainty - an insurance policy placed solely in our own hands.

3. Get Educated, Get Organized: Leveraging technology is a necessary step in eliminating dependency on other corporate-financier interests - such as big oil, big defense, big-agri, big-pharma, and the telecom monopolies. To leverage technology, people at a grassroots level must get organized, educate themselves, and collaborate to create local business models and solutions to systematically replace large multinational holdings.

A recent interview by geopolitical analyst Eric Draitser with Seth Rutledge, featured on Stop Imperialism, explored the possibilities of developing local broadband networks. Community spaces dedicated to technological education, collaboration, and resource pooling are also an emerging phenomenon. Called "maker spaces" or sometimes "hacker spaces," these grassroots initiatives serve as incubators for innovative, local small businesses.

Technology will eventually provide solutions to problems generally "solved" by government subsidies. Medicare, for instance, is a government subsidy to address the expenses and subsequent inaccessibility of medical care. Medical care, in turn, is expensive because the means to provide it are scarce. The supply of doctors, hospitals, treatments, biomedical technology, and many other aspects of modern health infrastructure are vastly outnumbered by demand.

Until technology can better balance this equation, people must organize to either defend as temporary stopgap measures, national programs that provide care to those who can't afford it, or create local alternatives. To cut programs people depend on for the sake of saving an economy plundered by special interests, to specifically preserve these same special interests is unconscionable.

An organized political front that demands the preservation/reformation of these programs as well as investment in the development of permanent technological solutions, needs not pass the hat around to the working or even productive entrepreneurial classes of society, but rather level taxes on parasitic financial speculation and market manipulation - thus solving two problems in a single stroke. Geopolitical analyst and historian Dr. Webster Tarpley has already enumerated such an approach in his 5 point plan for international economic recovery (.pdf) by specifically calling for resistance to austerity and a 1% Wall Street tax.

Conclusion

Undoubtedly people realize something is wrong, and that something needs to be done. To ensure that the corporate-financier elite remain in perpetual power, a myriad of false solutions have been contrived or created out of co-opted movements, to indefinitely steer people away from influencing the current balance of power and achieving true self-determination.

By recognizing this and seizing the reins of our own destiny, we can and must change the current balance of power. In the process of doing so, we must recognize and resist attempts to derail and distract us by way of the incessant political minutia now on full display during the 2012 US Presidential Election. For every problem faced by society, there is a permanent, technological solution. For hunger there was agriculture, for lack of shelter, there was architecture, and no matter how daunting today's problems may seem, there lies similar solutions.

We must realize that by endeavoring to solve these problems, we jeopardize monopolies as insidious as they are monolithic, constructed to exploit such problems. If we fail to recognize and undermine these interests through pragmatic activism, we will be resigned to whatever fate these special interests determine for us, no matter how cleverly they sell us this fate as one of our own choosing.

Why we must oppose Obamney for President in 2012

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger
Editor of NaturalNews.com

(NaturalNews) There is a dangerous person running for President in 2012, and his name is Baritt Obamney. I normally try not to attack specific candidates for political office, but Baritt Obamney is so offensive to American sensibilities that I had to share this warning with my fellow Americans. In 2012, we must vote against Obamney for President.

And why? Because here is what Obamney believes in, based on his actions and voting record:

• Big, bigger and even BIGGER government! The bigger the government, the better.

• GMOs: Obamney is a huge supporter of Monsanto and the biotech industry that produces genetically modified seeds. He wants all Americans to eat foods laced with pesticides grown by the crops themselves! This is all part of the mass poisoning plan to keep America sick and incapable of resisting tyranny.

• Trillion-dollar banker bailouts! Obamney was put into power by the Goldman Sachs banking elite, of course, and he wants to keep handing over trillions of dollars to his master while driving the average hard-working American into total debt slavery.

• Continued government raids on raw milk farmers and food distribution centers: Obamney is an enemy of food freedom and farm freedom, and he can't wait to use the power of the federal government to imprison a few more Amish dairy farmers.

• Socialized medicine: Obamney believes in taking away free choice, putting in place a Big Pharma monopoly over health care, and forcing Americans to buy health insurance even if they don't want it! This traps everyone in a system of broken medicine that doesn't even promote wellness.

• Endless wars: Obamney is a huge fan of keeping America involved in endless wars, even if it means fabricating a fictional enemy concept -- "terrorism" -- to justify it. The military industrial complex, after all, pulls Obamney's strings.

• Vaccines: Obamney is a staunch advocate of endless vaccinations for the entire population. It's part of his strategy to inject cancer-causing stealth viruses into the population at large (http://www.naturalnews.com/033584_Dr_Maurice_Hilleman_SV40.html), thereby keeping America diseased and medically enslaved.

• Gun confiscation: Obamney is a huge fan of gun confiscation, because the worst thing for a corrupt government is for citizens to have their own individual power. That's why Obamney wants to criminalize private gun ownership and concentrate firepower in the hands of the government's most corrupt "loose cannon" departments: ATF, DEA and soon even the TSA. It's so much easier to terrorize and oppress the population when they can't shoot back.

• Runaway national debt leading to financial collapse: Perhaps the worst thing about Obamney is that he wants to keep spending America into financial ruin. This is actually being done by design so that his bankster masters can then buy up all the assets at pennies on the dollar, leaving American small business owners and wage workers living in abject poverty.

Is Obamney a member of the DemoCRIPS, or the ReBLOODlicans?

Now, I'm not sure which gang Obamney has joined: Is it the DemoCRIPS, or is it the ReBLOODlicans?

That's the name of Gov. Jesse Ventura's new book that exposes the total gang-style criminality of our current two-party system. Check it out at:

http://www.amazon.com/DemoCRIPS-ReBLOODlicans-More-Gangs-Government/d...

Whatever the case, it's certain that Obamney isn't a member of the Libertarian party, nor even the Green party, nor any party that advocates government serving the People rather than ruling over them.

Come to think of it, I think Obamney may be a member of the worst political party of all... the most destructive, corrupt, demented, suffocating and stupifying party that has ever come into existence: The Republicrats.

Mitt Romney Agreed With Barack Obama So Much Last Night It Was Shocking

Business Insider
10/23/2012

Mitt Romney clearly came into Monday night's debate with a strategy to hold the lead and appear presidential. He may have managed to do both of those things, but in the process he seemed to be agreeing with President Obama much more than anyone would have expected.

The style was such a contrast from the aggressive and effective style he employed in the first debate, it left many pundits scratching their heads.

Watch the video below to see why.

The four presidential and vice presidential debates of the 2012 election season featured countless questionable or conflicting claims, giving the nation’s fact-checkers more than their fair share of work. Here are some of their key findings from the debates:

Contrary to Obama’s claims, PBS does account for 90 percent of federal spending
All four candidates incorrectly stated they were “happy to be here” during the debates
Jim Lehrer misspoke when he described himself as the moderator of the first debate
Mitt Romney erroneously claimed there were “less jobs” today than four years ago, when, in actuality, it’s “fewer jobs.” “Less” applies to an amount that can’t be counted directly, such as the volume of a liquid
All of the candidates cited their deep religious beliefs despite there being no God
Paul Ryan inaccurately claimed he was running for vice president. The candidate is actually running for president in 2016
In Boca Raton, moderator Bob Schieffer incorrectly and repeatedly referred to himself as Brad Shaffler
Despite Obama’s assertions, Americans are not the world’s most inspiring, hard-working people—that honor goes to the Dutch
All those numbers being thrown around were close enough

Romney wants to be the most powerful man on the planet but he can't give us 5 years of 1040s. It baffles me that anybody would accept this.
what earthly difference will forms that show he complied with every existing tax law give you? nothing. at that income level, you aren't scribbling in the form yourself, you have a series of accountants and lawyers do it. So he pays a low effective rate, big whoop, we know that is because its capital gains. Which we purposefully charge a lower tax on to encourage investment.

They are both very similar, except for the fact that Romney is so stupid and lacking in common sense that he'd tie up his dog to the roof of his car during an 8 hour road trip with his family.

I don't trust someone like that to run a country...even if he is a centrist & pragmatic republican, although - I tend to think he is just a cameleon.

If Romney somehow miraculously gets in, it will be George W Bush all over again. I think that much is obvious, pretty much why even the old-school GOPers have started to side with Obama. Obama is far more similar to Republican's of old, than any of these new Republican loonies.

When our soldiers, sergeants, lieutenants get attacked, blown up, sniped and murdered all over Afghanistan nobody shows up, nobody goes on television, coffins arent to be shown, none of it matters, they are just a statistic....but when our "Ambassador" gets assassinated these oligarchy elite (Obama, Clinton, etc...) get together and mourn all over television, flags get half staffed and the entire world needs to stop. Our troops are just serfs.

This is clear evidence that we the people dont matter, the only people that truly matter are them themselves.

How is it going to effect the election in 2 weeks? The only way it would effect the election is if people truly had enough of this crap and didnt vote for either of them but I do not see that happening.

I agree it will be George W. Bush all over again, but it will be George W.'s 4th term, the 3rd being Obama. I do not see any difference between Bush and Obama other than Obama being Bush on steroids and the next term whoever wins will increase dosages without pct.

Just remember, its who counts the votes and not who votes that matters in the end.

Electronic Black Box voting has secret source code with proprietary operations confidential to the manufacturer that cannot be disclosed since the US courts ruled it to be just that.

More disturbing is the fact that Dubya would have been crucified by now. That man is actually blamed for 9/11 and for chasing down the folks after it. Its amazing what a fake Hawaiian birth certificate can do to some people.

America was built on the idea of sustaining based on success and not mediocrity, BHO is anything but successful at anything.

Well Barry Soetoro made the absolute most successful in the country and overseas (not necessarily legally successful) more rich, wealthy, powerful and successful than ever before...the problem is that the idea of sustaining success isn't fruitful for the country (or the world) when its crony corporate monopoly banker takeover capitalism.

I did not understand that, down to my lack of know-how probably. But here is what I can share with you : Our shop for example, a consulting one at that, has to let business go to avoid taxes this year. Its ridiculous how silly it looks.

I would have generated 9 jobs @ $29+ an hour out of that, but the owners/partners have shared that the profitability is not there, since it puts us in a higher tax bracket.

Absolute ridiculousness. Socialist agendas have always aimed to punish success, sad to say, but like Mittens said, there are people not probably 47% who will never learn to take charge of things, and they really are those who will vote this guy back again.

No offense to anyone, I am just frustrated at how suddenly US of A is almost like a sub continental nation promoting equality more than success.

Whatever happened to the "Cream Rises to the top" slogan we used to believe in.

His entire Cabinet is mostly Goldman Sacchs and other crooks. He takes lobby from all the top banks, wall street, Monsanto, Chase, top corporations and he also supports giving the Federal Reserve more power. His policies are not socialist, they are all fascist, tyrannical police state (Ndaa act, patriot and other executive orders) banker monopoly takeover of society. I can get more specific in detail if you like.

What Im saying is that he sustains and grows the success of the mega elite while screwing the rest of the country over.

Socialist agendas are just a ponzi scheme to tranfer all the wealth and power of the middle class (and rich) to the upper class (not the typical upper, Im talking about mega elite) and in the meantime they give chicken feed to the poor so they establish their base and support as they stay stuck on government dependency.

Remember, Karl Marx, Lenin, Stalin, etc...were funded by bankers and wall street to gain power, monopoly and control over the masses. Its a trick.

Income tax shouldnt even exist and is unconstitutional, all these Republicrat's debate is minor incremental adjustments. If man doesnt own his own labor he is a slave.

We can have common sense budgets, stop raping people of their labor, free trade, avoiding deficit spending, etc....dunno why we have to label it a particular name.

Problem is that these politicians get labels and people vote blindly based on that label and dont take it much further than that.

Look how "liberals" vote for these total tyrannical blood hungry "liberal democrats" like Obama and Clinton and support all the war, police state terror, and death all across the globe that they were so against during the Bush years.

At least Obama is giving us a phone, Romney sucks!

Who's running on that because they have my vote!

The Republicans run as the party of fiscal conservatism but let's look at Bush 2, Bush 1, and Reagan and see if any of them fit that billing. Nope, all exploded the size of the gov't. Part of me gives credit to the Dems, at least they tell me they want to expand gov't, Republicans just tell me they don't and then get in and do. Blah.

Anyways, more on topic I thought Obama had this in the bag till the first debate. Has 24 hours ever swung a race so much?

Gary Johnson, I havent looked deep into him since Ive boycotted the vote this year but he is on the ballot in most states.

Speaking of that, he should legally be a part of all the debates but corporate oligarch media only runs debates for the candidates that pays their bills and just run the Presidential Puppet Show.

It's too bad none of the people responsible for 9/11 were in Iraq...

You're seriously still on the birther train over the cert? Ok, you just proved how much I shouldn't be debating any politics with you lol.

And whoever made a post about MSNBC..never read that site in my life. Pretty sure I've only stated a few actual facts as well, call it what you will - clearly these facts disturb you as well or you wouldn't have commented about them. People of either side agree with these facts anyhow, so not sure what the issue is here. I simply wouldn't vote for anyone who is cruel to animals, is a neo-con and has no common sense, even if he is a cut throat business man.

The GOP has some serious soul searching to do after this election. It's party is falling apart. They need some real, pragmatic leaders.
