Funny how everyone thinks they are economists. If you don't like it here you are free to leave. Or better yet thank god you were born in a country where you can debate your political views without getting your head cut off..

While I respect your opinion I am curious what you think you added? Your commentary pertaining to the individuals involved in this thread believing they are economists is foolish and a gross generalization.

The fact is "it's the economy stupid" and quite simple and basic mathematics.

Granted we can leave or we should just love it, but when one sees drastic changes in our society that will have a direct impact on them financially it is more than reasonable to lash out at those who support the changes.

The problem is that something like 80% of the population doesn't understand the simple concept of how to balance a checkbook anymore. Math is something you do with a calculator (or google even). So its not like many people do understand much economically given the lack of basic math skills. I blame our education system

Conversely, I attribute it to the lack thereof.

I respect your opinion as well. I also revoke my statement saying that everyone in this thread thinks they are "economists". That was far too broad and unfair.

I would also like to hear what tangible contributions you believe you added. Like the president is going to withdraw any decisions made based on what was said in a thread on anabolic minds?

I would like to know why you have such a problem with people voicing their opinions. He is expressing his opinion in the hopes of exposing other members to a different point of view, which is his right.

You came in here, giving nothing of value to the discussion, and just being argumentative. Why is that?

I believe people need to engage and try to get others engaged in political discussions. This is a political forum on anabolic minds for those who want to discuss and debate.

Obviously if you want change things need to broaden further out beyond just a forum, and I strongly encourage that.

Ignorance will be the ultimate demise of this country.

I have no problem with people voicing their opinion. I am glad that we have the right to do so and people take advantage of it. It bothers me when some people take it so far that they almost sound anti-American. Especially since people are bleeding for this country everyday.

Lol are you in the military bro? Because I am and I see nothing anti-American with people talking about what they'd like to see in the future.

No...no please, I think your taking it wrong. Everyone here has shown nothing but love for this country.

You dont have to love your government to love your country.

It should be very interesting to see how Obama treats the banks this time around....

As most of us know in 2008 Obama took more money from wall street than any candidate, ever. Which is quite ironic in itself considering Obama ran on change and anti wall street. Just goes to show how badly he fooled everyone.

Regardless of how bad the economy has been the past four years, wall street never did better. They've continued to run wild driving up commodity prices like meat, grain, sugar, corn, gold, and oil while making record breaking profits.

This time around, they were not so generous to the Obama campaign. Therefore I can see Obama really sticking it to them these next four years. A bit if revenge, and gets to play the anti big bank hero in his last years in office.

I think we're already seeing this begin with a stock market sell off these past two days.

Obama supports the bank of all banks, and thats the Federal Reserve. He has stated he wants to give the Fed. Reserve even more powers, and we see there is no discussion in the debates about the Fed. Reserve issue.

Also his cabinet is loaded with former Goldman Sacchs employees, its sickening.

Both Obama and Romney were supported and financed by the same banks such as JP Morgan, Chase, Sachhs, etc...corporate gave to Romney, and individual contributions went heavily to Obama...thats how you finance both parties.

If there is any war on banks and Obama...its Obama supporting the the big ones eating up the little ones.

    Obama is a bank, lol

Im starting to think whoever runs for office has no choice but to take money from the banks and Fall in line with the fed reserve. It's part of the job description now. Not because they want to, but it's mandatory, or else.

And I think Romney, more of a religious and decent man than Obama... And although took bank money... Would not have been on the take to the extent Obama has. I think Romney would have done what is right for the country, to whatever minor extent possible. And the fed and banks realized this hence deciding to stick with Obama and gave him the election.
