As Obama said last night "this is what Change looks like.".

Get used to it. Its going to get worse before it gets better. Just ask your parents or grandparents what it was like during the Carter administration. Oh and don't forget you are mandated by the Federal government to buy insurance or face a fine by the IRS.

Damn, sorry bro. That sucks royally.

Yes this is what change looks like....Whats funny is I just had a very conservative friend of mine send me mail (and this guy is anti-war, very political, very well educated...honestly a genius with a great understanding of politics, economics, etc) that made me smile...

It said "The time for secession draws ever closer" and he went into a long bit about how bad things are getting, and the abuse of power and about how the government is pushing their people to the limits.

Honestly...I always hoopla and rant about a revolution coming and all that good redneck stuff. Just me being me, ranting.

Double honestly....to see a guy like this change his mind....yeah, wow...actually kind of encouraging. Alot of people are getting fed up with crap. This is why the next set of unconstitutional acts will be disarming American citizens(losing our guns). Thank God for Vietnam vets, and other war vets, and crazy rednecks who all know how to level an entire city with just the contents under your sink LOL.

What sucks is Obama's internet security bullcrap.(I think that security act of 2010 passed right?) I probably been on a black list for God knows how long :D

Can anyone state all of the reasons for which Minutemen were created and the Redcoats were sent a running? Why was there a Boston Tea Party? What was the purpose of the Sons of Liberty? To prevent.... THIS

We failed our founding fathers and the blood they shed...

Seriously are there so few good men and women willing to get into politics and take down these bills? Are there so few good people left that we cant overtake the house and senate over time with non-corrupt people, and start repairing our nations integrity? Why cant we, for the life of us, get a real president who actually cares? And why is it that every single citizen could write their respective senators, and they still wont follow the peoples ruling, and make their own depending on their needs... WTF, this is no longer a democracy. I agree the common man today is probably stupid, uninformed, and a sheep succeptable to media blitzing and the likes. But come on now, are we really this stupid as a whole to get spoon fed bullcrap for years and never stand up, rip the spoon out of the hand and say "you try it good sir" and shove it down their throat?

I am not saying do anything stupid, but why cant we get people into offices and positions to actually help our nation. Its like in order to qualify to be a member of congress you have to have a corrupt nature and be as intelligent as a half dead squirrel.

I already dont get paid enough. Which has inspired me to start speeding through school again and get certified as a personal trainer...so guess its a good thing for us who cant accept mediocrity.

Didn't a Healthcare bill get passed last night or something? Im Ignorant In politics even though im currently in a Political economics class in college. The poor get poorer and the Rich get Richer. Thats how it goes man, your best bet is to stay in school, student loan the living **** out of these banks and get yourself a decent job and pay it off later. I make ten dollars an hour, working full time (granted it isnt hard work) and go to school full time, and going to drop nearly all my money for my girl moving in ect ect. Lifes hard but just man up.

Yeah the healthcare bill has a provision that gives control of student loans to the federal government. The Only place to get them is going to be Uncle Sam. And the middle class is getting poorer too.

My father owns his own buisness in boston (massachusetts already requires everyone to have health care much like what is being passed for the rest of the country now). Last year his health care costs rose 33% and this year they are rising another 11%. He makes a good amount of money but now he is even having trouble making ends meet at some points. He has even lowered the amount of coverage on his insurance and costs are still rising no matter what.

I dont think the rich will get richer. the only thing i have seen in Mass is the rich get poorer the middle class gets poorer and the poorest class gets some more handouts, honestly no one is really winning in this. I wish they looked at what happened to mass before they passed this bill, we went from being one of the most afluent states to undergoing a lot of problems now.

I wanted to start my own buisness this summer and after doing the appropriate research, if i where to do so i could either only hire part time employees, or be the only one working.. Its almost impossible for small buisnesses to maintain or even start in this state now, it really is making things much harder than they used to be.

But on the topic at hand, I know what you are saying. Small businesses always had a hard time ever since we went into a recession. Simply no one is buying anything.

What kind of business are you trying to open? Im actually majoring in business.

I know, Im young, but i have actually accomplished alot for my age In business sense. I have a widely diversified stock portfolio, I made nearly a hundred thousand with bonds, and I started 2 pizzaria's already.

Right now im looking into landscaping and landscape architecture and bidding for plowing jobs during the winter. My mother is a cerftifed master gardener out of Mass Horticultural society and knows a lot about the subject. I personally own 3 trucks one a 3500 dually that i can use for work a little bit but as a typical dumb kid i spent all my money on go fast parts and its basicly a show truck and with the money invested in it i cant afford to get it beat up. My other two are both 2500's both with plows and trailers that can easily accomidate lawnmowers and other equiptment. I have 1 lawnmower and 2 weed wackers along with all the little **** needed to do a small jobs, figureing since i already have the most expensive parts (the trucks and trailers) alreaddy covered the start up cost wouldnt be as high as doing something else.

I used to be a mechanic and thats why i have collected so many cars trucks, i used to make 60k a year until the recession hit and i was left out of my job and with no where to go so i went back to college and im about to graduate now, majored in kinesiology.

The mass flower/horticultural show is going on and im talking to a few of the bigger companies to see if they have any good insight as to the market and weather its a good or bad idea as of right now.

The only other options i have is going back to being a mechanic part time or take a huge pay cut, do personal training, or continue with college and im fed up with college so thats out the window. So i was researching a bit into this to see if it was a viable option.

Your exactly right. I wrote my senator about this new bill about supplements about two months ago and i havent heard a word back.

And all this bull about taxing the rich more...what our wonderful president is trying to implement is an idea of progressive socialism. The rich are rich for a reason. Im not wealthy by any means, but this is my view on what the country is headed to.

Geez, I didn't realize how fortunate I was. I'm a grad student working on a training grant and fellowship - I make <$30k/year but I paid next to no taxes this past year and I'm getting a $1200 refund and I get all health/dental/vision covered for free.

Not saying this to rub it in anyones faces - I just honestly didn't realize how good I have it. Look into furthering your education guys; it apparently can be quite worth it!

Who do you think is paying for the new healthcare and over 60% of the taxes now???? The rich or the less than 10% of america that makes $250,000 or more a year. So you think its right for me to have to pay more money to provide healthcare to a scumbag that has 10 kids doesnt have a job and has an attitude that the government will save me. Thats the reason were in this in the first place to many people depending on the government. I respect the hell out of the working class and they are also going to get a bit of a pinch due to this bill. I feel bad for the pre-existing health condition folks that cant get healthcare but i feel nothing for the low lifes that wont go make 10 bucks an hour because they can sit home and collect almost 8 bucks an hour from the system to sit on there butt and do nothing. the bill is going ot result in the rich not investing more due to the fact if they do invest there going to get taxed another 4% on any earnings they make on top of the fact that for every dollar i make i pay more than 50 cents back to the system. the whole system sucks and obama is doing exactly what he said spreading the wealth. he wants everyone to live the same. So because you went to college and have a good career means you should live the same as the person that had 6 kids by 17 and has no job??????

Amen Brother! The rich got rich by working hard and taking risks that paid off. I know some very wealthy people that worked real hard for a long time and now have 7 figure ongoing income.

What I don't understand is all the wealthy libs that support redistribution of wealth when they are going to be affected. Granted, it will have less impact on their lifestyle, but just doesn't make sense to me. Why would you support things that punish the wealthy when you are wealthy? And I'm not talking about shady politicians, just normal high class high income people.

I used to work for a landscaping company called Russo and Sons. They made alot of money by getting contracts from big land owners, perticually a publix shopping center. Look into resorts, anything. Talk and find out information. There isn't any money in home land care unless you have a over a hundred propertys being cut every two weeks. Hire a bunch of high schoolers or laborers for roughly 30-40$ a day cash and there is your employment. Keep a few friends on payroll and you should be fine.

Im Ignorant In politics
I can see that, but at least you seem to have a willingness to learn.

even though im currently in a Political economics class in college.
Hopefully you don't have a liberal professor and can learn reality as opposed to being exposed to some erroneous opinion passed on as fact.

You'd be better off reading the classic "Economics in One Easy Lesson" by Henry Hazlitt.

The poor get poorer and the Rich get Richer.
Often repeated and totally wrong.

The "upper" class was growing fast...since the 80s we have more millionaires than ever before. The "rich" didn't necessarily get richer, there just became more of them.

The "poor" class shrank....more of them entered the middle class.

"The poor get poorer and the rich get richer" implies the rich become richer at the expense of the poor, totally untrue. The fact is that the poor made more money because the "rich" were able to pay more.

Now that the "rich" will be penalized for success, they will have less money. That was money that was used to pay the "poor". So now, the poor will get poorer, but not because of the "rich", but because of the politician.

Honestly, Im getting banged wether Democrats are in office or the Republicans are in office. I really dont care at this point. I'm mostly Democratic but I will even bash Obama. Bush, Incompetent, Obama Incompetent, either way it blows. I even quit smoking due to Obama's raises on Cigs (Not complaining). Not he is going to take out more freaking money so some mexican with 20 babys collecting unemployment gets health care. Screw that, there must be some sort of qualification or something? Higher standards? I believe In providing for yourself first, rest later. Im going to spend all my hard earned money on my wife and children before I give it to some **** sitting on his/her ass collecting on the system.

As my old man told me there is nothing worse than a rich liberal. Yes when you make millions like a lot of liberal celebs it doesnt effect them as much as say the family that is making 250,000 a year . when you make a few mill a year a few extra percent tax isnt going to hurt them but its really not the point in my mind. Yes they can afford it but why should they pay say $45,000 more a year in tax when that money could be used to donate or like a lot of wealthy people help there own family. My parents are wealthy and there is nothing more that they want to do than helping family. With an increase in tax it takes the money out of the family and gives it to the govenment to pay for healthcare in this case. I live in alabama and its really aggervating to listen to the radio and here about people that own property that had to evict people due to non payent and the response "dont worry ill be fine Obama is going to pay my bills for me" thats whats wrong with america! I am all for helping people that need help and apprecatie the help not the folks that expect it. I'm not into politics but it just doesnt make sense. Spread the wealth is Obamas main goal and hes doing a great job of it. By the way to all the supporters of this bill THE GOV WILL DECIDE WHEN YOU DIE AND HOW. The land of the free what a crock of $hit.

haha yeah my little rant blew up. Its good to hear im not the only one who feels this way..... :AR15firing: just go to the white house fellas and :AR15firing: ha. no no dont do that. but maybe a terrorist could get there somehow...:drive:

Jk. or am i? no no no jk.

Im just sick of this. the 10% that needs health care..... jeez. thats it 10% or some low number like that.

Oh and on top of the health care bill. government did not seem to mention all the other goodies that are coming with this bill like taking over banking and loans for students......

Ummmmm this makes no sense we are already in debt right? why would you start to offer money to people if you dont even have money!? ok it will get payed off later but seriously?
And on top of this why would they take over banking!? banking is huge! bank of america is huge! huge corporate companies! they are helping holding up our stock and economy. why would you want to kick the legs right out from under this giant? cause you know the government is not going to be able to not keep it from going bankrupt..... its just a matter of time.

Well i just keep saying (with sarcasm of coarse). I dont know what we would do without our government. Cause the government was here way before we got here. The government is who gave us our base. Thanksgiving and the indians and pilgrims, its all a myth. Thanksgiving is up there with santa clause, easter bunny. Whats the declaration of independance? Cause obama is our savior. isnt that what those kids at a play where saying? with obama t-shirts on. school kids dont even have to say the pledge of allegeance (sp?)........
Im sorry lets just keep supporting the minorty that dont speak english that is smuggling guns drugs and all sorts of what not into america, because its just what makes us americans right? lets have gangs just like mexico. lets ban guns so only drug cartel can have them and pretty much rule the land. Lets make health care so bad that even for me with crohnes disease if i need surgery i wont get it. ill just die instead, mainly because "oh we just need to decrease the surplus of the population". Too many people in the u.s. Well excuse me! If that would be the case then why the frick would you support the "americans" quote on quote that are breeding like frickin rabbits and dont even work are getting food stamps enemployment checks, housing, internet, etc etc. Sh!T i would not mind being lazy also if everything was given to me! But you know i have a thing called pride and a thing that i was taught from a true american, my grandpa and my grandpas grandpa, that you work for what you get. Americans are known for there hard work! well lets just flush that down the drain. Lets just keep adding onto the already high percentage of fat a$$es in america, that already dont do anything and need handicapped signs for there parking cause they are too fat too walk long distances...... kinda contradicting if you ask me. :AR15firing::irked::smite:

ok im done, deep breath..... :silly:

Ditto again. Nothing makes me more sick than those who ride the system for meds and what ever money they can get when they are more than able to work. Yet they spend their "free" money on cigarettes, drugs, booze, wine and complain some more about how broke they are yet continue to ride the system. These people are just another big part of the problem. They should have a "Trash Bill" for derelicts like these.

They say a bullet cant fix things.......
My motto...

Though we are still in a period of time where the "illusion" of changing things through voting exists, the time is rapidly coming where people realize there really is only one way to take back freedom.

BTW, have you heard about the senators getting bricks through their windows and death threats that supported this bill passing?

You can say "that is wrong" but honestly its about time Americans make their representatives "represent or cease to be in that position". You cannot get a politician to vote change his mind less it is with mass amounts of money or the risk of his own blood...

Most Americans dont have mass amounts of money. I think the math is starting to show.

BTW alot of rumors about states starting to "reject" federal things such as this Bill, and other issues. The federal government has become unconstitutional and therefore is no longer protected by the constitution. Hence it is actually a profiteering corporation controlling us through the threat of death or fines.

And again though things I wont repeat on here, but more and more people are getting to the "Sons of Liberty" and "minuteman" point. And when you think about it, as long as an entire state goes that route, the National Guard for that state goes that route(family, friends, hell they will definitely choose them over Obama). Thus making such a thing very possible should 3-5 states make this choice, the federal government is literally "powerless" because the more soldiers I know, the more they tell me they hate it and they would never fire on a fellow soldier or American even as a direct order.

Its really not a process of "If" but "When".

Of course this is all theory existing on the sole requirement that our federal government be an evil corporation with no interest in the welfare of its people at which point no man can argue against this without being a coward or paid off....

Yet Obamas "Internet Security Act of 2010" or whatever, as well as the patriot act, and other such things exist solely to be ready for this, to make men and women dissatisfy at night, or for "muggings to go wrong" or for them to get into a car wreck or overdose or...wait wasnt there other organizations that did this...I duno gepetto, gastro...no... ah!Gestapo!

Everything we say is logged and we are placed on a "risk scale". Hence why "lowjack, and non-technology based comms are becoming popular. Nothing like a well trained carrier pigeon...

They say a bullet cant fix things.......
Whether people say stuff like this are serious or saying it tongue-in-cheek, this is not the proper way to make our side of this argument. If you want to help push the liberal agenda, say stuff like this. Now you become the "crazy right winger" and that becomes the issue....that is the news story, not the the government take over of health care.

Keep in mind guys that idiots(from a political-historical standpoint))choose all of our politicians. The so called "indy's" and "moderates" are the majority. These are the folks who get a little bit of news, respond to drivel such as "Change We Can Believe In" and vote on whats trendy. Like it or not, whatever they're persuaded of comes true.

So look at it from this perspective: Do we make a better argument saying stuff like "bullets can fix things" and we should "succeed and make our own country"(which yes, in a fantasy world I would love), or will we bring more people to our side by having an intellegent, articulate debate that shows how having too much government will diminish our liberty?

From your posts, you seem to have a very romanticized view of how America was. It wasn't.

Perhaps you should take a few courses examining American history from an unbiased viewpoint.

Also, we are not a democracy. That would be a terrible idea. I think our current political system sucks, but I can't think of any that would be a whole lot better. I think capitalism kind of sucks too, but it's definitely better than the other options.

It's a cold, cutthroat world and it always has been. Our country has really never been about freedom and never will be. That's just a romantic fantasy.

Your gonna need to learn to accept and love America just how she is (I do) if you want to be successful (or you can devote your entire life to trying to change it... or leave).

Lets get to the bottom of this healthcare crisis. Fat people. Obesity, as the political corrects call it, is on the rise. This is the main cause for healthcare going up. How many overweight smokers do you guys work with? I work with many. They are on high blood pressure medication, high cholesteral meds and borderline diabetes medication. And it's all brought on by their own choices. Now my healthcare costs will go up to help these people continue with their bad choices. My healthcare costs were going up already because more and more people are getting to this point. And dont blame genetics. You can overcome genetics with proper diet and exercise. I have bad genetics too. When does personal responsibility kick in? Ok. I'd better stop now, probabably pissed off some fellow bodybuilders.

Probably becoming a career missionary myself down the road. Man so many amazing things, and people who really do care.

I do admit I follow the more "romanticist" approach to things and impassion them more than normal people. That is the type of person I am, and it is also why I am creative, and it is also why people keep asking me to write a book lol. But truth is, America used to be alot better. And truth is, every country MUST fall and be rebuilt anew, or else it becomes a prison and not a nation. Every country will fall, none shall last forever. Its impossible. It may simply be our time to "shed our skin".

More and more Americans are starting to talk about revolution down the road(even the most conservative onces). Senators are getting death threats and bricks in the windows, we have some states that are suing the federal over the way this bill is set up. I mean more and more rights are stripped, our schooling is so damn pitiful now, the average person has less moral fiber than someone from 60 years ago.

Overweight people, capitalism has ultimately deadlocked and ruined our economy. Next your going to start seeing bank owners and CEO's getting popped left and right, major corporations who treat employees like crap will be torn apart. You know one thousand men, with the proper knowledge, a passion and dedication, could change this nation forever. Using bullets... and maybe some explosives and the likes.

There are dreamers, then there are those who simply have their eyes closed to no benefit. I will be honest, I am a writer, and can actually say I get many people who are encouraging me to write novels, or one guy just wants a written history of my quotes lol. I suffer from a slight detachment of reality as someone who suffers from the "artist condition" as in we dont think right, we dont see things right, and we never feel right. Many things I post on here are of an idealistic world. That is because I believe anything can be achieved.

Yes men are wicked, and corrupt. But look at what we have built out of the good in us. We can accomplish far more than we know if we unite. Sadly, we are being united only under false pretenses and for the wrong reasons. And eventually we will face the one world order issue. We already know mankinds physical existence will come to a complete end. I am just wondering fully how it will.

I love America, America is great. Even the poor can play xbox 360 and have food, and even if the house is ugly, its alot better than a shack made out of sheet metal. It has some nice backup systems(I myself am getting ready to use one, and some of you know which once). We have many programs to help the needy, we do have some great people as well here.

Its just the sheer "chain of obedience" you have to bend to in concordance with the federal governments will. I believe a good man should be just as capable as killing a man as he is as tending to his injuries and caring for him. Some times killing someone will benefit the world as a whole, and sometime treating or aiding a person will bring the better benefit. Its facts, but here that doesnt apply at the moment.

This is a misconception that is strongly propagated by the left. The predominant stress on the system right now is baby boomers aging, and not dying. One of the largest population booms in the US is now along in age, and the required healthcare is quite astronomical. The obesity "Crisis" is more of a red herring to push along an agenda... ie taxing only certain food and drink.

I know people who work in the summer and then file for unemployment in the winter...They think they're beating the system or something. I don't even have to pay taxes yet and it pisses me off.

so as life expectancy increases, people get more in Social Security than they ever put in, so it depletes the pool for everyone?

It is not a life expectancy issue. It is because there is now a disproportionate large population of older people because of the spike in birth rate after WW II (baby boomers). Since today's tax revenues pay for today's healthcare they are stressing the system because the taxable workforce is disproportionately small.

Each boomer probably paid his/her part into the pool but the governments at the time probably spent the money on other stuff or gave tax breaks instead of ear-marking the money for healthcare 30+ years down the road.

Anyways, the aging boomers are part of the problem but the NA lifestyle today is dogsh!t compared to 30+ years ago. This is also having its toll on the system.
