3 Navy SEALs Facing Assault
WTF is going on here? Are we REALLY going to put 3 covert operations specialist faces all accross the media? For what? I would have ripped the ****ers spleen out through his nostrils! GOD this **** pisses me off so ****ing much. Now terrorist lives are that much more precious than American.
The three, all members of the Navy's elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral's mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.
Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named "Objective Amber," told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.
Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers.
Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.
Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement.
Petty Officer Julio Huertas, SO-1, faces those same charges and an additional charge of impediment of an investigation.
The three SEALs will be arraigned separately on Dec. 7. Another three SEALs — two officers and an enlisted sailor — have been identified by investigators as witnesses but have not been charged.
FoxNews.com obtained the official handwritten statement from one of the three witnesses given on Sept. 3, hours after Abed was captured and still being held at the SEAL base at Camp Baharia. He was later taken to a cell in the U.S.-operated Green Zone in Baghdad.
The SEAL told investigators he had showered after the mission, gone to the kitchen and then decided to look in on the detainee.
"I gave the detainee a glance over and then left," the SEAL wrote. "I did not notice anything wrong with the detainee and he appeared in good health."
Lt. Col. Holly Silkman, spokeswoman for the special operations component of U.S. Central Command, confirmed Tuesday to FoxNews.com that three SEALs have been charged in connection with the capture of a detainee. She said their court martial is scheduled for January.
United States Central Command declined to discuss the detainee, but a legal source told FoxNews.com that the detainee was turned over to Iraqi authorities, to whom he made the abuse complaints. He was then returned to American custody. The SEAL leader reported the charge up the chain of command, and an investigation ensued.
The source said intelligence briefings provided to the SEALs stated that "Objective Amber" planned the 2004 Fallujah ambush, and "they had been tracking this guy for some time."
The Fallujah atrocity came to symbolize the brutality of the enemy in Iraq and the degree to which a homegrown insurgency was extending its grip over Iraq.
The four Blackwater agents were transporting supplies for a catering company when they were ambushed and killed by gunfire and grenades. Insurgents burned the bodies and dragged them through the city. They hanged two of the bodies on a bridge over the Euphrates River for the world press to photograph.
Intelligence sources identified Abed as the ringleader, but he had evaded capture until September.
The military is sensitive to charges of detainee abuse highlighted in the Abu Ghraib prison scandal. The Navy charged four SEALs with abuse in 2004 in connection with detainee treatment. The Historic PES Legend

Just imagine what the outcome of WWII might have been like if the media had been working incahoots with the nazis and japanese back then, the way they are with the islamic terrorists now. A guy overseas, with American soldiers' blood on his hands, is now being given better treatment and has more rights than a petty street criminal arrested on US soil.
Imagine if a commander in Hitler's SS could've filed charges agains the US military over a busted lip and secret military intel were released to the media in the process. Talk about a wet dream for the NY Times. It's no wonder we can't win wars anymore nowadays.

I almost posted this story earlier myself. This is truly unbelievable. He complained about a busted f*ckin lip, man, this makes me so mad. The politics that have been integrated into warfare are unreal. Once again, this is an action that will make service members have to think twice about what should be the furthest things from their minds while on mission.

Really now... lets think of what this douches family would say "They bloodied his lip and maybe made him afraid for his life"
Now lets venture to guess what the families of the 4 blackwater guys would be saying "He tortured, beheaded, and stripped my dad naked then hung him off a bridge for the media with writing on his chest"
Everyone keeps saying we should be above the terrorists. What for? What have we garnered from tying the hands of the military when their primary mission is to kill? General Patton had it right. When will we stop trying to push politics up the Soldiers, Corporals, Petty officers, and Airman asses? Let them do their job and turn the ****ing place to glass. All these politicians and media mongrels today need to be strung up by their testicles and let their constituents line up.

I'm sure those Seals feel like they should go out and risk their lives again after this ****. I don't agree with abusing subjects in custody but a busted lip... Really? A busted lip and you're actually going to court marshal three seals.
For the love of God.

I hope someone tortures the sh1t outta that guy. Seriously he is a terrorist not a human being, he deserves nothing and any negative treatment done to him is justified. This is ****ing ridiculous. These muslim extremists can torture the **** outta us and make videos of it but we cant even punch one in the face after capturing him! Not only that they know all they have to do is complain and some pathetic fuking liberal is gonna hear their cries and come to their rescue.

Wow that really pisses me off. Suing Navy SEALs? Ha! That prisoner should have been laughed at. I hope they did hit him. A bloody lip? How about beheading videos. A SEAL could have done far worse lol he should be grateful. Well good luck to the SEALs, hopefully they'll get the respect they deserve.

WOW!! Thats the first word that come to mind. It is freaking amazing that instead of being treated like the brave hero's that these men are they are being made out to be criminals. So the F' what if one of them punched some low life douche bag terrorist in the face. This is war, they are soldiers and he is the enemy. Last time I checked the idea of war was to kick the **** out of your enemy, becuase given the chance they will do worse to you.
Another example of how ***** estrogen filled liberals are ruining america. I'm usually one to stay out of politics, but this one is crossing the line.....
Those soldiers are hero's, bottom line!

There is an incredible amount of political correctness in the military. Whether it's not being allowed to use the term "war on terror" to ridiculous rules of engagement that tie our hands, it's gotten out of control.
For example, I was stationed on an a cruiser and we were doing routine patrols in the Persian gulf. An Iranian ship was trying to get close to the aircraft carrier in our strike group, and we were assigned to shadow them and prevent them from getting close to the carrier. The Iranians decided to head straight towards the carrier, so we continued to block them. They rammed us, and hit us aft and ripped up our flight deck nets. We did nothing in retaliation. We couldn't get permission to take any action to defend ourselves.
And now people wonder why the Iranians and North Koreans are continuuing with their nuclear programs? It's because they realize that the U.S. military is worn out, hamstrung, and will take no action.
Until we all make a stand, things aren't going to change.

Does anyone else not give a **** about a terrorist getting a bloody nose by a couple of Seals? In fact, isn't this normal? You can't train a guy to do that **** and then hang him for it. I utterly loathe the amount of PC in today's society. The world's a cold tough place and the line can only be held by tough men doing the dirty work.
God bless those Seals and keep up the good work boys. You have my support.

obama is a al-qaida sleeper cell, being groomed for years to infiltrate our government and destroy us, or at least that what it looks like. it is a fact that his father was a radical muslim and that he (barack obama) spent much of his life at some radical indonesian school where many suicide bombers attended. he also didnt convert to christianity until it suited his political agenda. it disgust me that we put someone in office on these facts alone, and thats not even half of it. i almost in a way hope he(terrorist) is so he can get rid of all these liberal, weak, ignorant pussies that are ruining this country first. that retards are letting the most evil people in the world free in gitmo who are going straight back to al-qaida and killing us, baracks adminstration should be charged with treason for assisting terroism.
sorry, just have to vent sometimes when i see how pathetic our society has come, we didnt become the best counry in the world by being a bunch of liberal pussies

wtf?Terrorist are enemy combatants and should be treated as so.This kinda **** makes me believe we lost the ideological premise that our four fathers were thinking of when they constructed IMO the most valuable document ever writen THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE.
KIIL'EM ALL LET MY GOD SORT'EM OUT!
